I've thoroughly enjoyed the game and had a tonne of hours helping friends do stuff after I already completed it. That said, this game is nothing like what was advertised to us the past several years, the cut scenes from the story arent even in the game, whole planets are missing from what you mentioned(Saturn, Jupiter, amd Mercury). I feel like I wasted money buying the Ghost edition, I trusted Bungie based off of all the enjoyment I have had from your other games. If you would buy back my dlc and artwork and Dinklebot I would take that in a heartbeat, it was great fun but now I'm on to hopefully a great list of games. I will probably still play to help friends and do the raid weekly so I don't bail on a group of people that depend on me. You've gotten all the money from me that you will get. I will not be sticking around for your 10 year plan.

15 RepliesI think that once the 19th of November comes, dear Bungie, you will have lost an avid fan/player. The fact that Xbox players are paying the same price that PS3-4 players are playing and getting less content is bogus. Ok, maybe they get it 2 weeks prior to Xbox users, but a YEAR to wait? Really? Do you not know your roots? Remember a little game called Halo that put your asses on the map, with XBOX players? I am not hating on any dirty back room scheme/money plans(and who knows what other "services" you might have gotten from Sony), at the end of the day, you are in this to make money, not friends. Agreed, good business sense. But making Xbox players wait a year for content that will be released to Sony players is BS. According to what I have read, 56% of Destiny players are on Playstation while the remaining 44% are on Xbox. So, you are willing to alienate almost half of your player base for what? I used to play MMOs on the PC, and enjoyed it and thought this would be fun. It is, although like many on here it is a bit tedious playing the same strike over and over (yes, talking about you Archon Priest) but the content is already starting to get droll. Who knows, maybe Sony is hoping to drive players to come over to them to get the extra content? NAH, not gonna happen. If you wanted to make Destiny exclusive content you should have done that, not treat us like second string players and bench warmers. So, based on your business decisions to alienate the player base that actually allowed you to move on to a successful business venture, (i.e. the Halo franchise/XBox), I will be moving on over to play Halo on Xbox One in November. I may stop in to say hi from time to time, but with Halo Masterchief Edition being released in November, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Very, VERY poor decisions on your behalf. Destiny was a great endeavor and a great game, but your support and obvious preferential treatment of the PS player base over what almost constitutes the other 50% of your business , is just bad BUSINESS. Best of luck to you PS players, I am happy for you and not hating. After reading the press releases on Dark Below(which unfortunately I prepaid for both "expansions"... but my son can enjoy them in my stead) this just turned me against you. Missing gear that isn't replaced ( this information could easily be saved on your servers and restored, Blizzard did it all the time for the WOW base), poor patches, Caterpillar, Zebra, Bee, Cow, Chicken, Badger errors, and just not enough content nor the promise of equal content has driven me away from what I used to consider a FLAGSHIP company to be mimicked. Not so any longer....

I'm fine with exclusive stuff when you purchase a game but having exclusive stuff for one system in the DLC which is the same price on both systems makes you Bungie a complete -blam!-.

Thanks for telling us about another bland 1hour "story" mode gameplay and another 200 hours of grinding only to get the same item you got 2 hours ago. Deej, Were all part of a minority of one of thousands that play Destiny & the truth is..the community is speaking out on a game as a community that had such possibilities were still trying to be heard. Im starting to wonder why we are trying to still be loyal tho.😯 A game that everyone was so excited about after beta. When you told us that beta was just the tip of the iceberg of content & things to discover. Things for us that would make it worth the wait till it was released, a game we wanted to be a part of. Dlc isn't gonna fix the issues of a game that shouldn't get a dlc so fast after a game came out because there is nothing left to do & with issues that go on day after day. Its like putting a bandaid on a broken foot. Dlc should be the icing on the cake. Something that adds to the already wonderful content we cant wait to game with day after day & explore. Not a game that's turning into an unrewarded repetive grind for so many & now you want us to buy into more of it with the dlc? Really?? A game that still has many many issues that within a week the community was speaking out telling you the issues. Like.. An unexplained story line with grim cards that we have to spend much time out of game going thru just to figure out whats going on & what bonuses we get for completing things. The cold rarely any chat match making system that is supposed to make us wanna be part of a team not just to get the grind done. For that matter the no chat system out of teams. The even more, most of the time unrewarding reward system for your effort in all areas of crucible, strikes & vog that fast became aggravating for many. The messed up half thought out clan system promoted for teamwork but yet other than one trophy has no real reward system to make clans worth joining no clan missions or bounties nada. The wonky & sometimes complicated app & forums system for not only clans but everyone. The many server errors on all consoles still going on today. The lack of storage after making more than one avy. The repetive warmed over areas for events in a new game? Which btw imo would add much if we had some weekly planned events be they public or tower npc ran, something to look forward to now not in dlc. This is just a few of MANY issues i can think of right now. Then you threw us a bone with IB but then the truth was we learned fast from that we prolly couldn't trust what we were being told by Bungie. Pls listen to our truths Bungie. We wanna stay loyal & still be excited about Destiny but for me its hard being one of thousands that are feeling the truths of what we are actually getting from Bungie vs the cost of our enjoyment. Thank you, this is my thoughts & opinion addressed to Deej & Bungie 😒 [spoiler]this game now reminds me of another game i thought was gonna be so worth it, Defiance 😭 such a great idea that started with a bang & look where it is now with once loyal gamers? 😒[/spoiler]

Sounds good, my only question is why am I going to be charged the same price for less content on my xbox 360, than if I owned a Ps4? Why any exclusive content for consoles, especially in dlcs? Stupid idea.

1 ReplyI'm quite excited for new content, regardless of what other people think. Sure, it lacks in story. Its not what people expected. I've only been playing the game because I find it, y'know, fun. I'm able to meet a good group of people through this game, all of which have an interesting story to tell and all with different skill sets. We make best of what we have, and have a great time doing so. If we need a break from Destiny, we'll hop on a different game. I'm really looking forward to the weapons, more than the raid/strike. I look forward to all content, really. They look -to me at least- extravagant. It seems like it'll have its downsides, but we won't know for sure what they'll be until we actually try it ourselves.

I have only one problem with destiny and that there is no matchmaking for raids. if there was then the game would be much more accessible to players who don't have 5 other level 26 friends who all agree to put one week towards it .a problem with matchmaking on the raid is that it is 'a long strike' that cant be done in more than one sitting, so make a lower level of the raid which can be completed in 45- 1 hour yet you don't get good stuff and are much less likely to get raid gear. THANKS GUYSssssssssssssssss....

23 RepliesSweet mother of Joseph and James. Reading the posts here, you'd think everyone and their mother had a problem with this game. I don't comment much, or even read comments much.. Maybe my third comment, but I feel like I need to step in and defend this game. Lol my friends and I love this game. We play daily, and it's part of why I'm failing physics. And I want to thank you for that. Lol we have a kick ass time, and love doing the raid. I've logged tons of hours.. I'm almost a 29. Just praying for raid gear at this point. I still don't feel like the game is over. Until I hit the level cap.. I won't feel like it's over. So I'm pretty happy with the amount of "fun" I'm getting from the game. Kind of like cod and prestige system.. You may have played every map.. And reached first prestige online.. But that doesn't mean the game is over. That's basically, in my opinion, like hitting level 20 on destiny and beating the current story mode. We're geared toward the multiplayer.. Online.. Games with friends thing. Which is exactly what this game offers. And I like that. We like that. So thanks. And we look forward to future raids and increased level caps. Keep up the good work bungie. #TheWizardsShieldsAreFire

I'm kind of disappointed. I have an Xbox and if I want to buy the expansion then I pay the same amount and get less. I have to wait 8-12 months before I get the content that I paid for? Umm excuse me? There is something wrong with that. Not only that I have to keep paying for more story? 20$ for each one HOW MANY are you going to do are we just going to continue to pay for content that you could not finish by launch day so you charge us for us. WHAT THE -blam!- HAPPENED TO A ONE TIME BUY. I don't understand why Bungie why are you turning into a mainstream triple A company. Where is the Bungie I knew. Where is the Bungie that pioneered multiplayer. That changed the way people ENJOYED games. I am not sure if I want to keep paying for these short spirts of story. This is not walking dead so stop acting like it. Bungie I love you just stop being dicks.
