Realy? 1 Raid , 3 new missions ? and 2 or 3 more strikes ? realy ? like wtf bungie ? thats like half a day and people are trough the whole dlc and u dare to ask 20 $/€ for this content ? i am stunned, i mean i love the game, but every game starts to get boring after grinding the same shit over and over again. i even wonder if this dlc for u is coming in time for me. cause im already at the point that i have absolutly have nothing to do anymore except leveling some weapons an gathering materials for it. i don't think im the only one who is at this point. doing this for the next 5 weeks is not what i was having in mind. 2week for assasins creed is coming Thank god, 5 days later we have far cry 4 to play. i think ur community is going to slink verry rappidly in the upcoming months. i would like to see those statistics posted. think its going to be hilarisch, a slap in the face for bungie/activision for being so goddamn greedy! gameing these days isn't about games being liked or not, its al about money money and more money, and -blam!- the communitiy! let them whine, we got our money. i also read that there were only coming like 2 or 3 dlc's for the first part of destiny? if u want to make it up to ur community even a little bit, then u should realy consider that last dlc to be free. cause if this is going to be the future of destiny, expensive games with not much to offer and even more expesive dlc with even less to offer than this will be the one and only destiny part for me i have bought. good luck with ur game and start listening to ur communitiy. and then i mean the mature people and not the spoiled little brats who get everything from mom and dad, who have no idea how they are getting ripped off.

I wonder how many of the Story Missions are Dinklebot Defense Missions and/or Story Missions that we're going to be in the actual game. I'm sorry Bungie. :) I love your game, but what Activision made you do is wrong and unacceptable

The dlc content seems fairly small considering the price of it...a strike..a raid..some gear and weapons..a small moon story..if this was dcuo you would get the same if not more content for £8.. 2 dlc for 35 think I'll just keep it for the next game I want

Dear Bungie, So I just realized I am paying for the same content on X1 but getting far less "until at least fall 2015". What a way to treat your customers. I will not be buying any games or content from you again unless this behavior stops. Not now or in the future. What a waste...

And it's a very valid concern. But the core problem with Destiny runs much deeper. The core problem, as far as I see it, is that you're utterly alone in the game. I'll attempt to expand as best I can. The reason the raid works so well (and is arguably the most successful part of the entire Destiny endeavor) is that it requires massive amounts of teamwork. It provides, upon beating Atheon, a sense of reward and togetherness that no other part of the game currently gives you as a player. I feel as though the team at Bungie would like to bring this experience to the wider majority of the game, but is confused as to how to do so, or is otherwise very conflicted as to how to go about doing so. I want to assure you that doing this would be exceptionally easy, and would make Destiny the game you want it to be and the game that we, the players, want it to be. My suggestions operate on the assumption that most Destiny players care about the notion of fighting for humanity. It is the premise of the entire game, the reason anyone who enjoys PvE wanted to become a Guardian in the first place. With that in mind, Bungie needs to begin addressing the issue of feeling alone in the game by giving players a shared experience outside of the raid. Sure, if you have enough friends with the game, you can link up a fireteam and do some of the same 4 strikes (now a staggering 5 strikes for only $19.99 on Xbox) you've done 5,000 times over, but the only emotional appeal to this is that you're doing something with your friends for a while, until you get bored, and let me assure you, killing the Archon Priest for the zillionth time is boring - boring enough that the friends I used to play with have quit the game. I feel that many can relate to this situation. In order to make your players feel something deeper and continue to invest in Destiny, we need to be able to actually fight for the very survival of humanity. Other people have left comments regarding this, and I'm mirroring their ideas and sentiments and not claiming them as my own, though I've had the very same thoughts as them for some time now. Bungie needs to actually put humanity on the brink. As Guardians, we need to be able to get an alert from The Tower while we're out collecting Spinmetal that The City is under a massive attack by The Fallen. We need to be able to see all the players around us disappear, heading to orbit just like we are, mashing our controllers to take us all back to defend The City. Upon arriving, we need to see droves upon droves of enemies marching to the walls, and have a way to get out in front of the walls to fight them in the plains before they reach the gates (troop transport ships on a loop that fly you over the city and drop you into battle, anyone?). We need to see dozens of other Guardians fighting tooth and nail to defend the last bastion of humanity alongside us, and we need this on at least a weekly basis. These kind of encounters can play out all over the solar system, and last a day at a time, giving many players the chance to enter the fight. Ground must be gained and lost, territories threatened, The City seen teetering on a precipice before you and your fellow Guardians prevail (or don't, which leads to many other, ridiculously interesting options for the game, and opportunities to fight for what is lost). Again, I don't claim such ideas and sentiments as my own, but I wanted to articulate them here in the hopes that someone with a voice inside Bungie HQ might raise these ideas that I very much believe thousands of players yearn for. If ideas like this were baked into the game, this crippling sense of solitude that one often feels while playing would effectively disappear, because we'd all be fighting for something together - something tangible, that we could see and feel and believe in. While you, Bungie, continue to release patches nerfing hard-earned exotic weapons, killing loot caves, restructuring the raid to prevent players from beating it with human ingenuity, and announcing DLC content that is quite honestly very lackluster and addresses none of the deep, even psychological ineptitudes within the Destiny universe, I assure you that even if the current numbers say otherwise, you are not building a 10 year franchise. I see a lot of people complaining as it is with every game gamers can never be happy an always have to find fault in something but for all those complaining im willing to bet you all will have that dlc on dec 9th not a minute Lateran still grind the mmo out so just enjoy the game for what it is or if you hate it that badly stop playing it's really not that difficult people

"A wealth of new weapons" Unless I didn't read something right, I believe there's only 9 exotics coming out with the expansion. This INCLUDES armor. Again, unless I didn't read about a bunch of legendaries, or rare weapons being in the expansion pack. Yet again, Activision pushing us to feed them money for 2 hours of enjoyment until the raid comes out. Complete bull...

I understand why people are upset, getting less then what you pay for is a totally understandable reason to be mad. I play Destiny on Xbox and realize that I won't be seeing the that new strike for the next year. We all realize it's business and so forth. Do I agree we should have to wait so long? Heck no. We should only have to wait 3-4 months tops to respect the exclusivity of the deal. But a year is ridiculous. If Bungie wants to maintain any sort of Xbox fan base, there gonna need to cut this back now. Even though it's one strike now, which if it was just ONE strike, would be minute. But to have one strike we already don't have, and another to not recieve for a while, and on top of that more in the future we won't get. It adds up. This game is lasting now, sure, it's the big thing. A year long though and within a year 3 more DLC will probably release, then another year? You have to be kidding. I'm not ripping on the gameplay because that's another topic, even though I personsally enjoy it. But c'mon Bungie. You're so close to greatness. Listen to us, we're here for a reason.

Gotta say I knew this would happen, Activision and Bungie don't Give a -blam!- about its fan base, I stopped playing Destiny and I started playing Diablo 3 ROS, I'm getting way more content on that game and it only cost me 30 dollars... Now you guys know why the lead story creator left Bungie a year before release, on every update you guys get screwed but keep defending this Greed infested game... People wake up and try to to play a different game like Borderlands 2, or Diablo 3 ROS, or Skyrim, or Planetside, or final fantasy 14 ARR, or Guild wars 2, or Battlefield, or any other game you can think of but for God's sake stop giving Destiny so much room to keep getting your money, if you keep this up other game companies will do the same and then We'll have half a game and the rest sold thru Dlc packets.., WAKE UP!!!!

I've read all your stuff, Deej. I listened to your community outreach on the Guardians is Destiny podcast (you sound like a cool guy btw) and you say that the team is working on it, that there's still work to be done, that you're going to fix things. This is not fixing things. 5 new PvE levels and 3 crucible maps for $20 is a joke. I understand content creation is tough. I understand you guys need to charge for DLC to pay the bills. Cool, I get it. But releasing this little content for such a ridiculous price is absolutely crazy. Let's pretend you guys didn't completely botch up the launch. We will pretend destiny got perfect scores and the forums aren't filled everyday with quitters and disappointed fans. This DLC STILL wouldn't be doing the game or the players justice. You expect 5 pve level to keep me occupied for 3 months while I wait for another expansion you're going to charge me $20 for? You must be out of your freaking mind. I get a free game on Playstation plus every month. What makes you think I'm going to Pay $20 for that little content? You say you have been listening. You say that you have heard our complaints. Obviously you haven't. If you had, you wouldn't even be pulling a stunt like this. I seriously hope you guys get your act together. Otherwise you're going to be losing a lot of players over the holidays, including this guy.
