I'm sorry Xbox users I do feel your pain and I agree it's jacked up but I will be honest about this. Microsoft got mega greedy and blasted themselves in the foot due to greed. Activision is a smart company and can figure out how to get the most from sales. This being said giving ps extras one keeps there primary interest stronger and slowly pushes others to move to ps. I expect many companies to use this tactic to squeeze more money. The root of the issue is Microsoft's greedy followed by Sony blowing it up and taking 2/3 Microsoft's customers followed up by good economics by the game producers. I'm not being a turd just looking at facts and drawing a logical conclusion.

I hope that everyone knows that the guy who wrote halo and was the project lead for destiny quit after bungie scraped his story that was advertised in 2013 destiny trailers.
-
When's the second dlc come out? The first one might keep us busy for about 2 weeks if we're lucky.
-
I wish you guys would sell the game as it is with both expansion passes included... Ahhh to the world we will never have 🍻
-
Ok I have something to say on this and I want to start out by saying don't make the game easy but do do some of the things blizzard did with world of warcraft like I don't know in an expansion gave more than enough content to wait till the next expansion like multiple raids tons of New factions crap tons of story stuff.. Otherwise destiny isn't an mmorpg it's more like koa reckoning with guns and multiplayer
-
DLC looks sweet, looking forward to getting that sick Titan armor lol totally worth it too me lol
-
Bungie, You want to charge me the same for the expansion with less content...ok...Master Chief Collection preorder...cancelled. Destiny was the last dollar you get from me!
-
I'm so embarrassed of the gaming community sometimes, man we get that u don't like the game and yet you still play it?! Just say you enjoy it as I do and agree when people say there's some shitty things in the game, that's it. Nothing wrong with enjoying a game for what it is, we know and I know it could've been better and we should get over it and see if we can make it the game it should've been. Regardless I'm satisfied with my 60$ spent I've played this for over 100 hours and still look forward to pointless grinding until I'm done or DLC. Call it like it is and move on.

Fix he current update, people are sometimes lagging out of the game just spontaneously and it's really annoying for instance, doing the nightfall my friends and I. We were so close to killing the nexus then we all just lagg out! We have awesome Internet, so it won't be an Internet issue? Please!
-
Would have liked to know that I was getting a fraction of the content for full price. It's disappointing to say the least. Oh well.
-
Five additional bounty slots. Thank God. Having three exotic bounties at once screws you over when you only have five slots. Ten is much more reasonable
-
I think it's funny that all of you guys are like "this game is gonna tank when the division comes out" or "really!? DLC that should have been in the original game!? I'm switching to cod!" Bungie does not care about that. They have millions of dollars stuffed into their mouths and a player base the size of a government military. SO SHUT UP PLS. All these negative comments won't do ANYTHING. Give some advice on how to make it better or STFU.

Edited by rainam2k: 10/30/2014 3:59:11 AMThis isn't a game worth getting until all expansions are released. No game out there feels this unfinished before dlc is added. I've said it before: destiny will be an amazing game...two years from now. The bigger affront is the fact that xbox players get less content in an already content sparse game. They made leveling super quick so you can get to content faster. This usually entails an expansive world (true mmos) or a more compelling loot system (dungeon crawlers). This game has neither until all the expansions are out. I can see us all looking back next December thinking "wow the intro wasn't bad at all for how awesome the story ended up" but if shouldn't feel so bare in the meanwhile, imagine if halo 1 was this cryptic. Who the hell would've cared about halo 2?

Edited by OMC DRUCIFER: 10/30/2014 3:13:18 AMExclusives. A lot of people are arguing that Xbox gets plenty of exclusive DLC's, and that is true. But in those cases, people who are on consoles that are locked out don't even have the option of purchasing the content (most if not all of the time). However, in this case, many like myself, have already PAID for the content and expected to be able to download it, only to find out we've essentially paid for that content 1 year in advance. I gave you my money, give me my content. And others are saying that Xbox whining is going to lead to Xbox only titles. Have you not played any games in the last, like 5 years? Playstation has titles that are 100% exclusive, as does Xbox, as does Steam. I don't hear anyone complaining that we can't play God of War because we don't have a Playstation. On the reverse side of that, the franchise that built this studio is now owned by Microsoft and is an Xbox exclusive. But again, it's not like you paid for Halo, then were told you'd never be able to play it. You knew going in that if you wanted to play it, you had to purchase an Xbox. Again the same applies to God of War and other various exclusive titles, if you want to play God of War, you have to buy a Playstation. It's known and understood. Back to the DLC aspect. Xbox is getting CoD DLC ahead of other consoles, true. But you haven't purchased that content because you knew months ago this was the case. Here, we have a case where this content was available for pre-purchase to all users, and many did purchase it, only to have it revealed to us that this content is being chopped into bits, and because we are not PS users, we are paying full price for 3/4 of the product (which to be fair is more than what we got of the vanilla game when we coughed up the $60 for that). It just keeps piling on. And for people who are getting worn down by this, stop logging on to complain. Stop buying the content, stop logging in to play your billionth strike on Winter's Run. Because as long as the game continues to get attention, and people continue to invest their money in it, it's a successful title and nobody has to even listen to a word of what you're saying, let alone take it into consideration for future development. The only thing any business listens to is money. Cut off the money and you'll get their attention.
Dear Bungie, Destiny simply isn't what I expected. I've had great respect for the work you guys do from the first time I played Halo with my friends, and I followed the Destiny buildup until its release with edge-of-my-seat anticipation. To me, there's no story more compelling than that of humanity's very survival, and no pursuit more noble than fighting for the preservation of our species. It's what drew me to Halo, and what drew me to Destiny. It's teams of artists such as yourselves, who recognize the inherent nobleness of this concept and seek to bring it to millions, that inspire me, that give me something to look forward to after a long day at the office, that offer me the chance to escape a reality where the difference I make is marginal at best, and enter a reality where I have the chance to make a difference that feels like it matters, if only for a couple of hours every night. You brought me that sense of purpose and inspiration with Halo. But I don't feel this anymore. In Destiny, with a full loadout of legendary and exotic gear and having played through the full story, experiencing what the Crucible has to offer, battling my way through countless strike missions, finishing every bounty 100 times over, and exploring the complete extent of every map, I'm...bored. But it's worse than being bored. I don't feel anything. I've stuck with the game all these hours, whole days, desperately seeking to feel what I expected to when I first read about Destiny so many months ago. It isn't there. Although I initially thought that the lack of story was the problem, I've come to realize that the lack of story is only the tip of the iceberg. It's the part that's visible, that every Guardian who's also searching for that sense of purpose and fulfillment in Destiny can readily point to and say "That must be it". And it's a very valid concern. But the core problem with Destiny runs much deeper. The core problem, as far as I see it, is that you're utterly alone in the game. I'll attempt to expand as best I can. The reason the raid works so well (and is arguably the most successful part of the entire Destiny endeavor) is that it requires massive amounts of teamwork. It provides, upon beating Atheon, a sense of reward and togetherness that no other part of the game currently gives you as a player. I feel as though the team at Bungie would like to bring this experience to the wider majority of the game, but is confused as to how to do so, or is otherwise very conflicted as to how to go about doing so. I want to assure you that doing this would be exceptionally easy, and would make Destiny the game you want it to be and the game that we, the players, want it to be. My suggestions operate on the assumption that most Destiny players care about the notion of fighting for humanity. It is the premise of the entire game, the reason anyone who enjoys PvE wanted to become a Guardian in the first place. With that in mind, Bungie needs to begin addressing the issue of feeling alone in the game by giving players a shared experience outside of the raid. Sure, if you have enough friends with the game, you can link up a fireteam and do some of the same 4 strikes (now a staggering 5 strikes for only $19.99 on Xbox) you've done 5,000 times over, but the only emotional appeal to this is that you're doing something with your friends for a while, until you get bored, and let me assure you, killing the Archon Priest for the zillionth time is boring - boring enough that the friends I used to play with have quit the game. I feel that many can relate to this situation. In order to make your players feel something deeper and continue to invest in Destiny, we need to be able to actually fight for the very survival of humanity. Other people have left comments regarding this, and I'm mirroring their ideas and sentiments and not claiming them as my own, though I've had the very same thoughts as them for some time now. Bungie needs to actually put humanity on the brink. As Guardians, we need to be able to get an alert from The Tower while we're out collecting Spinmetal that The City is under a massive attack by The Fallen. We need to be able to see all the players around us disappear, heading to orbit just like we are, mashing our controllers to take us all back to defend The City. Upon arriving, we need to see droves upon droves of enemies marching to the walls, and have a way to get out in front of the walls to fight them in the plains before they reach the gates (troop transport ships on a loop that fly you over the city and drop you into battle, anyone?). We need to see dozens of other Guardians fighting tooth and nail to defend the last bastion of humanity alongside us, and we need this on at least a weekly basis. These kind of encounters can play out all over the solar system, and last a day at a time, giving many players the chance to enter the fight. Ground must be gained and lost, territories threatened, The City seen teetering on a precipice before you and your fellow Guardians prevail (or don't, which leads to many other, ridiculously interesting options for the game, and opportunities to fight for what is lost). Again, I don't claim such ideas and sentiments as my own, but I wanted to articulate them here in the hopes that someone with a voice inside Bungie HQ might raise these ideas that I very much believe thousands of players yearn for. If ideas like this were baked into the game, this crippling sense of solitude that one often feels while playing would effectively disappear, because we'd all be fighting for something together - something tangible, that we could see and feel and believe in. While you, Bungie, continue to release patches nerfing hard-earned exotic weapons, killing loot caves, restructuring the raid to prevent players from beating it with human ingenuity, and announcing DLC content that is quite honestly very lackluster and addresses none of the deep, even psychological ineptitudes within the Destiny universe, I assure you that even if the current numbers say otherwise, you are not building a 10 year franchise. Or a 5 year franchise. I'll be curious to know what those numbers reveal once other games are released through the holiday season. Somehow, I don't think they'll be very promising. Not considering what you gave us at launch, and how little you continue to give us. Destiny was a promise of something incredible that never was and still isn't. It could still become that, but my hope is waning, and that's a real shame, because this world you made for us, this repetitive, empty world - it's very pretty. Thanks for your time. I hope I get the chance to thank you for your efforts in the future.
The titan is holding the necrochasm......
-
Stoked for this...raid team is chugging along clearing hard mode VoG every week and we're looking forward to the next challenge! :)
-
Sweet, we can hit level 32. I wonder how many dozens of times I'll have to do the new raid before the gear I need to do so drops.
-
Edited by SPACE: 10/30/2014 4:11:43 AMI will not be buying the DLC since you sided with Sony and are basically Fu.ck.ing us xbox players. How can you justify paying $20 for 2 more strikes and what, a raid, a few pvp maps and probably an Hour storyline mission? This is pathetic. YOu already sold us 3/4 of a game. Now we have to pay more money for 1/5 of the remaining 1/4. I think Xbox players should get together and start a website, www.Xboxplayersagainstbungie.com If people didnt buy your product, maybe you would listen a little more.
-
I would buy if it gives us the opportunity to be level 32 without 50 raids that lasts at least 2 hours one's for me the raid (no matchmaking or Any Other possibility to fell the hole of the raid squad easilly in the game) just kills the game. think about that bungie (please)

Where the -blam!- is Sketch and who the -blam!- is this Deej character?
-
Definitely need to add the ability to make our old armor up to level 32. Otherwise all armor before the dlc is rendered worthless is it not?

Bungie left Microsoft to get away from a shitty publisher then they go to Activision, another shitty publisher... They need to just find another one that is actually good like Bethesda or something
