28 RepliesWow, you actually get heaps for your money compared to other games that offer DLC! I bought a season pass for Titanfall, they only had 4 multiplayer maps! Wtf! No new titans or weapons or abilities or looks or anything! On Destiny you buy DLC you get multiplier maps, story missions, a strike, a raid, and heaps of weapons and armour! Will definitely be purchasing.

Edited by mma hoodie: 10/30/2014 3:22:31 AMLet the advertising and hype begin have common sense people , this ( expansion ) is an hour of content minus the raid cause that's weekly , lvl cap is raised to 32 which you will need to do the raid to get the gear anyway, 1 new strike 2 if your in ps, couple new guns and armor 3 story missions and that it. This is being hyped the same way the game was that came out with practically no content.

4 RepliesGoodbye bungie. Will be trading this game in within the next week. Bungie, you promised us alot before release, but we got so little after buying the game. Now im doing the same crap over and over again with close to no rewards. $500 million dollars, and $80 for destiny, and this is all I get. I finished the main story in under a week, I reached level 25 in under 2weeks. Its a grindfest of a game. Its only Strike, raid and crucible, and after a month, everything in the game feels the same, no matter how many new maps. Its just the same crap. And with this DLC, level cap raises by 2. What a bloody joke. I was expecting it to raise to 40

But this is a "shared shooter" its more of a mix of halo and borderlands. You cant do a cross genre comparison, it doesnt work, it also leads to an ignorant , entitled viewpoint. I.E. "we shouldnt have to pay for this, it should be a free patch". This game doesnt have a monthly subscription, they cant just release high content "patches" for free, so those of us who care get DLC instead, for a reasonable price. CoD dlc are $19.99, so for the price, destiny users are getting a great deal.

I would be happy about the DLC if i felt satisfied wit the story i mean Cod: Ghosts Extinction mode has more of a story then destiny. So these story missions better be packed with a good story.

Any new lands to explore? Other planets? More patrol modes? Otherwise why does Mercury have that one cocktease PvP map? There's a fundamental problem with paid expansions in multiplayer games: fragmentation. The more DLC required, the fewer the number of people available to play it. Either you end up segregating players based on whether they have it or not, or you have everyone included and people who have the DLC have less of a chance to play that content (e.g., one person in matchmaking doesn't have DLC; chances of DLC map being picked go to zero).

I think you should create a colosseum mode kind of like what they did in rise where this terrain transforms ands shifts and make it so the waves are never ending and just get harder and harder with increasing enemies with a different colosseum. Even combine enemy types in a mixed stadium and add objectives like the vex sacrifices ( they could reward you with xp, Gilmer and loot drop multipliers on completion for rest of match) also use increasing enemy levels as well or a level option this could be a great way to get glimmer and the farther people get reward them with greater loot drop chance from enemies. Even reward them with a special loot drop they can get like in the vault for reaching certain levels but make them only drop once every week like everything else, you can even do new bounty types and special stores like iron banner. I believe this could be a door opener for many new game types for you bungie please consider this even for the far future. And I would appreciate the likes comments and feedback from everyone here that I Is part of the destiny community. And message me if you wanna play I am level 30 MASTA SUSHII

Hundreds of hours in the game, objectively i clearly got my money's worth, and yet somehow you still made me feel cheated. Good job. That's quite an achievement.

3 RepliesThe usual borderlands 2 DLC cost 10 dollars, and includes significantly more content than this. Bungie, if your "10 year plan" consists of releasing tiny slivers of content every few months, Destiny will be dead before the year is out. Some of us are already getting real tired of your skinner box gameplay. This is -blam!-ing bullshit. Remember the time when games were supposed to last more than 2 months on its own? Oh wait, that still exists. There are many great games coming out soon. Like dead orbit always says, an exodus is nigh.

Dear xbox owners Today a great injustice has been done to you. As a PS4 owner I feel your pain and anger over the timed exclusive BS. Yet not all is lost. You pay the same price as us PS4 owners yet you dont get the delivery of content in the same timeframe as us. A la call of duty. You say your leaving and your finished with Bungie, but let's be honest. There are more people on PS4 than on Xbox anyways so nobody really cares. Go play your halo from 10 years ago and relive your glory days of gaming. Vote with your wallet and don't buy if your pissed off, that'll send a message just as it did with all other timed exclusive in the past. Lol. That's how a free market works. Obviously if the consumer base doesn't pay for it. It will die. Unfortunately there is a good amount of people on ps4 willing to play and some on Xbox that will still play so your whining means nothing. Just an FYI.

Bungie had a great story line to halo story was amazing. What about destiny? The story completely sucks I don't want to back out of the game to read I didn't pay to read a story I paid to play and listen to the story bungie needs to secretly make story updates without Activision knowing

Bungie Destiny is becoming an epic failure. It should be the first huge MMORPG on consoles to rival computer games like WoW. If I want a PVP shooter I play CoD. Sure it's fun to battle other players occasionally. But I really doubt anyone bought this game just to play PvP. I think there's a good portion of players who agree when I say your focusing too much on pvp and lacking in content for PVE. I'm tired of grinding the same missions, strikes, and 1 raid. Adding a few story missions and 1 raid....and 3 pvp maps? That's a f***ing slap in the face, especially when you call it an "expansion". Your gonna make a ton of money regardless, and that's how you'll justify making a mediocre story line rpg instead of making something epic. And that's sad...Where's your ambition?

Not worth $20 and i don't even consider this a expansion either..more like a simple map pack
