No game is meant to be played 12 hours a day because people don't have that time. So quit it with ur elitist bs about how u should only get good stuff if u "work hard". 2 RepliesThis is what you are calling an "expansion'? One new strike ... on -blam!-ing earth? Some story missions of the same rehashed bullshit story you claimed was supposed to "immerse" us? You told us this wasn't just a "little bit extra" this would be a complete and legitimate expansion, it was advertised as a new world of gameplay of mobs, of glory and triumph. THERES NOTHING NEW. and its meager, for a full sum of $20. You guys should be ashamed for your half ass work and your full on false advertising. This is bullshit.

6 Replies<rant> I think you guys are taking this whole thing way to seriously. I bet everyone on this thread plays Destiny everyday and complaining (Hatred is stronger emotion of Love). I like playing the game and feel the story is there but also agree that lack of explanation (cut scenes before every mission that you can skip after first play could tell the story) makes me wonder WTF Im fighting for other than survival. My point in this comment is to say to ppl; lets be constructive critics and give insight in how to make Destiny better. Not compare it to a game and about what made Halo great. This ain't Halo and comparing games is like comparing women... Just be happy with what you got and make it better ;) Hell you might even get a job making Destiny better. </rant>

Yes, Sony has rights to the Dust Palace and the other strike mission for a year or so, but what is stopping the developers from making something special for the other consoles that are exclusive for those consoles for the same amount of time. When such exclusivity rights are over, release all content for all consoles. [spoiler]But... Maybe I'm wrong for having such thoughts.[/spoiler]

Sony paid for the additional content on behalf of all PlayStation owners, without passing on the costs. This is just a business doing a deal to increase market share against a competitor by guaranteeing a value added product to their customers. Xbox owners should be unhappy with Microsoft for allowing Sony to one up them. PlayStation owners should be pleased that Sony are securing additional content on behalf of their customers at no extra cost. This is in no way Bungie's wrongdoing.

31 RepliesGood idea adding more pvp maps no one will play. Haven't you guys learned that you have the most unbalanced, minimally entertaining, and least diverse pvp to date? I guess I would shell out 20 dollars if I wanted to hide in a corner with a shotgun and an aesthetically different map... People bought this game because you promised a halo meets WoW shooter RPG. No one cares about the garbage pvp you have to offer. Halo anniversary is going to blow this crap out of the water. Listen to your fans (or what you have left of fans) and provide PVE content. 3 missions, a shitty strike no one will play unless forced to due to a weekly/nightfall, and one raid for 20 dollars sounds like you guys spent too much developing this game and realized all you had at launch is 20 hours of content maximum and are trying to rob your customers blind before they all bail on your piece of shit you painted gold at E3. When I played WoW I would pay 50 dollars for an expansion that consisted of a massive new open world, +10 level cap, 7+ raids, multiple new dungeons, new classes, massive amounts of new gear. And for 20 dollars we are seeing maybe 8% of that with Destiny. What a pathetic company you run. If anything your fans should open a law suit for millions of counts of theft for all the empty promises and more to come.

What the HELL barely new content and even shorter for your Xbox fans Bungie if we paid for this dame game we expect everything to come equal how are you going to give PS Fans ( no Offence ) an extra strike mission for the expansion they already have 1 up on us on mars. YOU NEED TO GET YOUR HEAD OFF ACTIVISIONS D**K and start listening to your freakin investors we the dame players you'll smash weapons and boss because were speeding thought the levels that you thought were going to take us days to complete but not fix audio and gate problems in the raid. You need to take control or your baby (Destiny) or it is going to be set to the foster home (Gamestop) and not be adopted ever.

I like this game, I've purchased the limited edition so I've already paid for the Dlc. I can say however that had I not paid for it already, I would be hesitant to fork over any more money for this game. Forums posts will be ignored, the actions of you wallet or lack there of however will not. if activision and bungie cared about the community - this first DLC would be free...so let your wallet do the talking

12 RepliesI wish I could go back in time and save myself the sixty bucks because this game sucks. Sure it was fun for awhile and I didn't mind the error codes for the first few months because its a new game and those kind of things are to be expected but you've got to be kidding me Bungie. And they are offering me the opportunity to spend twenty dollars to buy another part of the game i should have gotten when i bought it get the fvck out of here. I would rather drag my balls through broken glass than spend money to support this game. This game is so repetitive and boring it actually makes me excited for the next call of duty and that's saying something.

No this game is not the best fps and no it's not the best mmo but it is good at combining some aspects of both and that's what's got me hooked. With that out of the way I can now say without just being a whining bitch... -blam!- you BunVisision! One ps4 exclusive I can handle but is every dlc going to be half ps4 exclusive?! Way to -blam!- over a fan base who is already sticking with the game despite missing out on content. -blam!- the price of the dlc I don't really mind but how can I become legend if I can't even play half the game till next -blam!-ing year! I would have bought a ps4 if it was a ps4 exclusive but it's not. Oh wait now that you're hooked, Xbox fans get stuck holding their dicks wondering what to do. I'd pay extra for the -blam!-ing content, I just want the whole game the whole story, especially if this is just the beginning. Add some kind of matchmaking for raids, headphone only, pre raid chat. Not like strike matchmaking, like a 6 person fire team that only starts the raid if everyone agrees and likes the group. I don't know think of something your two gigantic companies you could figure it out if you wanted. Pardon the rant but I'm passionate about the game. Don't listen to people whine about trivial things, listen to the people who love the game and have very simple logical requests. This game is great, please don't -blam!- me over.
