Someone really needs to understand the difference between an expansion and DLC... What we are presented with is DLC (Download Content). Yes, while an expansion [i]is[/i] in fact DLC. That does not mean DLC is necessarily an expansion. Expansions area while new areas in addition to other contend such as weapons, armor, ect... Where as DLC is usually just PVP maps, Armor, weapons... Also, expansions are typically a whole new story. Sometimes it may feed off the original, but most the time it's a new chapter in the story. We still have no idea what's going on in the original story, and now you (Bungie) want to throw a different story at us?!? BUT, we are still on the same old planets... With an unfinished main story... Well it don't really matter now, I was really hoping for more. As why I've bought the digital guardian edition... I guess I'm force to get this [b]DLC[/b]... Definitely not worth the price though... Enjoy! :p

The gem is starting to lose it luster... I feel with the deal what new releases are presenting me and how I'm getting cut of content because I pick Xbox and the price is the same, it's not even worth it.

When ordering it I thought yeah look, a game which was originally advertised so that you can go wherever you want (like skyrim) with a loot system (like borderland), made by the ex-developers of Halo! awesome! A few weeks later it came out and after a week I already had two level 20+ characters and was completely bored. Only 4 very limited maps. Horrible multiplayer. Constant disconnecting. Disappointment. But I still play it now and the only reason for that is that I have no other good games to play (1 week and 5 days till MCC and thank goodness for that). If it wasn't for me making the mistake of buying the limited edition I probably wouldn't come back to destiny but now I want to come back to play what I thought would be two FULL expansions but guess what Bungie signed up with activison and became a money whoring company and in doing so has completely ripped off xbox gamers by promising them things they will not receive but still forcing them to pay the same price. To sum up, Bungie I am dissapointed of what you have become, a few years ago when you made Reach I thought of yous as one I the best game developers in the market but now... Now yous have become greedy and have lost all aspects which made me think so highly of you. After these two DLCs I will probably never play destiny or any other destiny sequels that rip off either consoles again. Thank you for reading. De Grunt King (Xbot)

Honestly I'm happy with destiny. Just don't get the DLC if it's to expensive or uneven with different consoles. If you do that the only thing that will be hurting is bungie.

3 RepliesYou've really outdone yourself bungie. I thought your games were awesome. Then destiny came and you -blam!-ed it all up! And still when I thought it couldn't get any worse you try to not only -blam!- everyone over but make everyone pay the same thing. Uk owners pay about $33 to get DLC, what about UK players that play xbox? Thats a double -blam!-. And its not even a reasonable time. A damn year? Whats messed up even more is by that time there will probably be yet another DLC with PSN exclusive content. All you guys are now are money grubbing asshole.

I'm really glad I didn't purchase the DLC. With all the new releases this month I will be busy until the 2nd DLC, if I do ever come back to Destiny. I wonder if you will ever be able to level past 20? I love how they release a new set of gear with higher "light" and call it progress. Cheers to a 500 million dollar failure

6 RepliesI understand the ps4 exclusive deal, but why are the xbox people having to pay the same amount for less content? A year lock makes that content useless to me. The story has already been butchered to a useless level and now I cant even get a new raid I already paid for. By the time I get the raid on xbox one the gear will be garbage compared to new stuff. The power of the all mighty dollar and idiotic decisions by corporate shit heads is -blam!-ing half of this game's community. This has nothing to do with what system is "better". its just a kick in the nuts. I love this game (270 hours logged) but I think it will be my last purchase from this company.

I predict that there will probably be something else creeping around in the middle of the year that will come both for xbox and Playstation. Think about it: the expansion will come a year in advance to Ps4 players. Thus, the content is complete. Available. All Bungie needs to do is drop it available to xbox, and same for the House of wolves. I'm sure they have to be working on something right now. Wether that will be available in 2015 ? I don't know. However, think about that lock content in the disc. Their foundations are clearly laid out. Just not available and incomplete, but not incomplete to a point that there is need to begin from scratch.

Hmmm, so I'm paying the same amount of money for the expansion, but since I'm on Xbox I'm getting lesser content. That is some bullshit, and should have never been agreed upon from a sales stand point. You guys need to get your act together cause that ten year plan is going down the drain fast. I don't care that the story was crap, and you keep doing "Hot Fixes" for whiners, but to do this to your Xbox fans is just unfair and utterly ridiculous. My opinion though, and we all have one of those. I bought this game for the love I once had for Halo, and Halo 2, maybe Halo 3, but you guys are disappointing me every chance you get. I have over 200 hours on this game so I'm speaking as a gamer who enjoys this title. I'm just getting bored with the repetition. Fix it please!

6 RepliesThat's it? No matchmaking? I still haven't completed the vault of glass, and before some troll or fanboy decides call me a whiner, I say how am I whining? I mean this forum is solely meant for this purpose, so they can improve the game. I don't have a raid team worth of friends to run the vault effectively and without matchmaking or even some type way to have dialogue with other players in game, I can't enjoy the game as much as I would like. It's a fun game but come on now we're asking for some really basic things. Matchmaking and/or proximity chat. Come on help a bro out, please bungie.

We'll see what happens. I love almost everything about Destiny. There just isn't enough content. Hopefully this helps with that.

Let me get this straight... We have to search the forums for the slightest update on the persistent server issues blighting players, (because you refuse to be transparent to any degree in game or front of house in the app, let alone the forum) and now you're pedalling the next paid for expansion!? Honestly this is shameful. Acknowledge your faults and address the community as a whole when things go wrong. I can't see people sticking around when you don't and then ask for more money the very next day!
