2 RepliesI just want to write, for myself and the people that still love this game, that it is awesome. Before destiny was finished the developers commented that various games inspired them, one of them being dark souls. Which is awesome to me and for the people that complain about the story, the same people do the same thing in the souls games. What they did was put little descriptions in weapons and comments around the game, like the raid weapons, not telling the story, spoon feeding you as God of war, halo and multiple other games would pour the story onto you, instead you get little bits, as you would if the world of destiny were real, you would only get rumors and pieces from people. Therefor you imagine your own story and get to hear everyone else's version and it gives it that lore feel that makes the game so much deeper for me. I love that they did that with it instead of just watching a movie basically and the story being over once you beat it, if you haven't looked into all the lore, you definitely should, because I believe they intended for it to be figured out on your own.

2 RepliesAlthough I love the game I just wish the areas were larger, especially if there will only be one area per planet. Earth is way too small. And same goes for the moon. I remember the developers saying they would get lost in their own sandbox... Well I want to get lost too, and have yet to do so. The environments should be at least 3 times the size... Or in bungie talk 7 times.... Let me explore... When I hear them say "Out here in the wild" I want more of it. Let me feel like it's the far west! Let me feel like I'm on a planet. I remember thinking that the tower would be attacked by enemy and us guardians would have fend of waves of attacks... I understand there has to be limits but I want to explore... It's such a tease. Huge world but just not open enough. Still, I'll keeping playing but will keep hoping one day I can cross the expanse by the forgotten shores rather then see the dreaded "Turn back" message and countdown.

Activision is laughing their way to the bank. And stupid me for getting swept up in the hype of this game and pre-ordering game + dlc. Dlc im not going to play. Such boring grinding. Destiny will go down in video game history as the biggest scam and fail.

I'm not lashing out at people against the game or upset with how it turned out. Bungie signed with ACTIVISION, publishers of the Call Of Duty franchise. This means, HUGE cuts in vanilla games (games ready for release). Before Destiny released, there were HUGE cuts to content and different features (Google search it, confirmed DEVS who left said so). They are doing their best under CONTRACT to give us what they want, but in the end, it's all about the money. Welcome to corporate America fellow gamers. Enjoy what we have. To Bungie: keep up the good work, me and my fellow teammates are still enjoying this game since release. See you all starside.
