I love this game for what it has so far but , its not even done yet it has loads of bugs, you guys had a alpha and a god damn beta. You should have found as much bugs as possible. why?why? Do you think you can get away with making us pay for the story. Not even call of duty's lame ass does that and they release a new game every 6 months with a story that makes sense most of the time. Give us what we paid for before you start another game. Not everything is about money you scumbags, if you make a great game everyone will buy it then your income will follow, but its how many people love the art,THE STORY,the innovation. I think you guys would think different if you started back at the beginning when your company was NOTHING, nothing but dreams and goals to make the best video games ever. I don't usually complain about games but you knew better NOW FIX IT ,make us the game we payed for don't start a sequel to game that wasn't finished in the first place.

Does this DLC come with a storyline or character development?
-
This next month is pivotal. Destiny's fate will be sealed by what is contained within the DLC. It's a fool's hope, but I can only stress that the DLC must include some major reworking of the primary story line. Something to fill the gaps so we can make some sense out of the fractured story. A handful of missions, weapons, and assorted rejectamenta are insufficient. Such a small gesture will fail to save this title. I just won't cut it. I have stoked the fire of hope that the Destiny we were sold was a skeleton. Something to be fleshed out with massive chunks revealed at regular intervals. I stated as much to my friends when we first realized how short and poor the narrative was. Their interest has withered and waned, their return entirely dependent upon your actions in the next five weeks. For now, I am alone in Destiny and I doubt that will change. Upon seeing your outline for The Dark Below, I have begun to quickly lose faith that you're planning to do the right thing. If you plan on just rolling out a few new toys and little to no correction to the previous content, Destiny will fade into obscurity. Mind you, I love the game, I really do. I've spent well over 360 hours in the world of Destiny, trying to find something to occupy my time and take my mind off of my current situation. I'm an Army vet, and am disabled and bedridden. Being inside Destiny is the closest I can come to being ablebodied and back fighting the good fight, without setting off my PTSD. I play games that allow me to lose myself within the role written for me. I enjoy taking on the persona and imbuing my electronic doppelganger with a part of me. That immersion is what Destiny sorely needs. I want to fight for humanity. I want to stand for those that cannot fight themselves. However, to take lives needlessly is monstrous, but that's precisely what you want us to do. With Destiny, you gave us no explanation, saying that there is not enough time, but if that's true, then explain the existence of the Crucible? We have time enough to blow each other's heads off in some imbecilic competition, but not enough time to explain who we are killing, or why? Such contradictions point to how poorly you view your PvE players, as livestock. Targets to be fattened up and then FORCED into the Crucible to provide the juvenile PvP players easy kills. For another point of inequality look at the bounty payouts of PvP versus PvE. The PvP bounty rewards are most often higher than the PvE equivalent bounties. I'll state it plainly. Not everyone wants to compete in the Crucible. Forcing players to do so is cruel and manipulative. We joined the fight to take back out planet, not see who can set themselves up in the most fortuitous position and snipe target from afar or hide around corners. Stressing the PvP additions to the game in the DLC will not win you back the good will of the community that you have already lost. Please, get off your "Call of Halo" kick and focus on repairing your narrative and make amends with the PvE players. The only long term hope for Destiny lies within the PvE community, not the fickle PvP crowd. I am certain writing this is just an exercise in futility, and it will fall upon deaf ears. I just really hoped that you'd be able to resurrect Destiny and fix the glaring issues with the game, but it's a moot point. You've got five weeks. At that point, you'll have made Destiny into a truly legendary game. Either Destiny will be known for its miraculous return from the brink, or its epic failure, a joke to be mocked as this generation's E.T..

I'm so freaking unbelievably pumped for this DLC. Literally everything about it. Just looking at the pics of the new weapons gets my blood pumping. Not to mention how fricken sick the Titan raid armor looks. Deej, be sure to tell the art team that designed the raid armor that they made it look pretty badass.
-
The game SUCKS but we still continue to play as a "community" supporting bungee. Might do the raid later, so if any you people's want to msg me I'm lvl 30btw Titan.....

Fun game. Love the action and shooting. But story left a lot to be desired. Brought the expansions hoping that the story will be just as cool as the game play. I'm a big fan of the game but what will happen when my 3rd character hits level 30 and I got all the stuff I was looking for? New gear and passing the limited level and much better story and missions with even more intense boss battles should be what we are looking at here. Overall it's a fun game. But the z's are going to kick in. Some of us fans are hardcore and expected a lot more than this. (Like myself 280+ hours now) Crucible is fun. But it should be about Guardians pushing back the darkness of the Fallen, Hive, Vex, and Cabal throughout the solar system. Not Guardians killing Guardians for reputation (ranking system would still be nice for rewards) (I say this because Crucible is all what most of us do on this game after we get tired of other stuff we've already accomplished 100 times) this game is all I play, I love it, but I wanted to see more from the 100 bucks I invested for both the game and expansion. I believe that this games starting potential lies within the story mode as of right now to pull players back into what is going on in the world of destiny. Then later add a few more raid missions strikes and even better gear, a good idea too is to add something to do with the aircraft you have, we should be encountering fallen and hive ships in a 3 man fire team, or how about a few strike missions using your jet? (I find it weird that we can't blow up the run away ships from 4 rocket launcher shells and a few genades) I wanna see some creativity! :) or 2 people riding on a few new vehicles. All From the new planets. The max level is 32, I expect it to be pass 50 by the time the expansions are fully updated. I want something very creative. My expectations are still high for this game because I see all this potential. At this moment anything is possible and this game has a lot of hope even though it doesn't look like much right now. Bungie please don't disappoint me! There's a lot of work to do here!

Edited by WildTurkeyCO: 10/31/2014 12:51:00 AMHey Deej any comments on this vid ? http://m.youtube.com/watch?nbsp=&v=fXW2FEJ4L4E And we know you know the truth, you're shown in a fireteam in one of the clips that appear to be back when Destiny was still the game I wanted and was shown to us all.

Dear Bungie, WTF? How can the people who brought us Halo make this? Halo was and remains to be the best fps out there, for 3 reasons. 1. Story-Halo has the best video game story, arguably one of the better sci-fi stories period. Destiny has a story, I think(not sure). 2. Music-Marty's music made Halo immersive and cinematic. It was also one of the few things that was good about Destiny. However, as Marty is no longer with Bungie Destiny's audio future doesn't look good. 3.Multiplayer-Grenades, Melee, Headshots! The only thing that felt right about Destiny was the combat system, the multiplayer felt familiar yet new and energized. No forge, theater, vehicles, custom games, and a lack gametypes made it feel unfinished though. finally, there didn't seem to be $60 worth of content. In short, the game felt short and unfinished, with the story badly lacking. And the ghost was sadly inferior to Cortana

This game is like having a fat super model as a girlfriend, tons of potential but you're just left with your p.... in your hand thinking about how great things could be.

There was a really interesting post in this thread that had over 2000 replies, where the -blam!- has it gone?

Will this come out for the Xbox 360? If it will than when? From an uninformed Guardian

Fix it!

Edited by Frazer Keinman: 11/5/2014 6:20:34 PMThe picture @ the top is interesting and this is a guess but i believe this is the the third man/woman, As the Hunter mask [MASK OF THE THIRD MAN] Resembles the ''Wizards'' face, this is just a guess so message me if you think so too.

thanks Deej

This game is awesome hearing those complain how bad it is obviously should quit. You complainers obviously want to rush through the game. Those who complain they can't get there character to 30 because they get nothing but ascended materials through the raid..... Woopty dooo I can't get mine to 30 either but hey every week I keep trying. Why? Because I am challenged by Destiny to keep trying. If I were to get my character and my other 2 to 30 I would no longer be playing this game. I would be to damn bored that I have maxed them and will have nothing to do. These are just my opinions as well as others have their opinions but please if you don't like this game nothing is keeping u from quitting. I will continue trying to upgrade my characters and will be looking forward to yet another challenge from the darkness below dlc.

I look forward to buying the Dark Below expansion. I actually support the game unlike many others below me \/

Edited by fasoldoii: 11/5/2014 7:53:46 AMWait? Light level 32? Great! Now all of the gear I've slaved myself to acquire can become irrelevant for the low, low price of twenty bucks. In other words I paid $60 for a game. And a large portion of this game (the armor) already became irrelevant when VOG was released. Now I should pay an extra $20 so the VOG raid armor can become irrelevant too? Then another twenty, I'm assuming for the same scenario, when House of wolves is released. (Or save 4 bucks, pre-order it with the expansion pass, and trap myself into what might not be a good deal.) Then why even add armor customization? Apparently how I want to look means nothing if I'd like to play the new DLC content (New Raid on hard, and I assume the new DLC after.)... Then when that DLC is released I have to pray for an armor drop -- that I might not even find appealing or useful -- so I can make my purchase worth being made? At the very least, to make this right, add a vanity system where I select a set of armor to affect how I look, then another to affect my stats, perks, and light level. You're lucky the gunplay is so dang fun, Bungie...
-
THE LIGHT ABOVE when does that come out?

For the desticles out there still blindly defending this game, please take the time to watch this video.
