Does everyone complaining about Xbox not getting all the DLC understand that Sony only got the extra's as TIMED exclusives?!
Its all coming to the xbone, playstation just gets it first. Be patient and stop bitching about everything little thing.
If you dont like the game or how they're releasing their content, don't play it!!

You're still getting it... You're arguements childish. You're cracking the shits because you don't have it right now. When did gamers become more concerned with what they don't have than what they have? Why can't people just be grateful they got the game rather than paying out on a developer that, i guarantee you, is acting on stipulations put in place by the publisher Activison! You wanna hate on someone and send angry comments direct them to those a/holes. They would've been the ones that said "this is how and when and how much we're going to make everyone pay for this! The game would've been a lot different if they didn't get their filthy hands on it. Either way i still think its a great game. They fact that everyones up in arms over a miniscule amount of content is really disappointing to see from such an amazing community.

That's just the thing, the Xbox content is not coming anytime soon... Fall 2015... by that time destiny will have run it's course. I don't mind when games like CoD do exclusive dlc because it's exclusive for just a month, not that long, but a full year of exclusivity? That's ridiculous. On top of that Xbox players are getting less content for the same amount of money even though the Xbox fanbase is what made Bungie what it is today. How is that at all fair?

It's kind of not. But again i believe your anget should be directed at Activison. Not Bungie man. I think exclusives are bs. Why alienate one particular part of a community when you could give it to them all. The answer is f/ing publishers. They're a scourge in gaming!

Yeah I mean Activision is probably more to blame, but bungie is also part of the problem. Like they left Microsoft because they didn't like the way they were being treated and they wanted freedom away from Halo so their answer to that was to join forces with Activision? Of all companies, Activision? People thought that was a poor call from the beginning! At the time, bungie was probably strong enough to last on their own without any BIG publisher's help.

Apparently not. Activision was the one that bailed them out. I dont think they believed that funding the project would be such an undertaking. Then when problems arose Activision rolled round with the money truck like the a/holes they are and would've said "we'll help fund it but this is how its going to be". Kinda sad really, i imagine the game would've been a lot different and more along the lines of what Bungie were pitching if they hadn't had to sell out.

Its missing the heart that Bungie gave the Halo series. I'd like to think that there was a lot more to the story before Activision came along. Hopefully we'll get the game they wanted to release at some point.

That's a really good way of putting it. And I think you're right, something is amiss here. This game was teased right under our noses all the way back in 2009 with Halo 3: ODST. The tease had Earth with the Traveler over it and the text "Destiny awaits". Clearly they knew what they were doing back then, they knew where the game was going and they had so much time until Destiny's release date that I find the lack of content and story utterly dumbfounding. Halo is my favorite video have franchise and I know... or I should say I thought bungie was more capable than this. I wish I knew the inner workings, what really happened, why Marty was fired, etc. Lol

Probably, being a game designer must be so stressful because of whatever company you're under. Like I said, I'd love to know what happened to Destiny, but it would also be great to know what with games like Mass Effect 3 and Dragan Age 2, you know? Like games where there is obviously something wrong.

Absolutely. Im of the belief it comes down to the publishers. Games we all seem to have issues with or feel like they're lacking from previous titles always seem to have a major publisher in common. Mass Effect and Dragon Age had EA (probably the worst of the bunch) and Destiny has Activision. Even the Final Fantasy games lost something when the merged with Enix. But then look at your Indie titles. While they may lack from the graphics and cinematics (devs also need to step away from this!! If i wanted to watch a movie i'd go to the cinema. It takes away from the gameplay) of triple A titles, more often than not their stories are amazing and the gameplay and mechanics are fantastic. I think Developers need to take back the reigns and deliver the games they want to deliver rather than be told what and when they can deliver. Bring back the golden age of gaming. I'd rather solid stories and gameplay than abhorrent narratives with amazing graphics!

This isn't meant to benefit consumers; console timed exclusivity is a cash grab. I'm not buying the dlc regardless of when it releases but I can understand people being upset about it.

I agree. I'm just shitty about tomb raider I loved that series and have to buy a xbone to get one so I'm just annoyed just ignore what I say on the topic I'm heavily biased at the moment.

Look. I agree its a raw deal. I hate the idea of exclusives. It's b/s. But in all honesty you guys aren't missing out on all that much. An exotic Auto that, in all of my game time (over 9 full days i think), i've never even seen and 1 strike. Another when the dlc releases, neither of which give you anything unique and equivalate to about 20-30mins play time a piece depending on how fast you can do them. If you wanna tear someone up for the exclusives email Activision. They're the a/holes that would've made that part of the deal.
