My question is about the level raise. So since it is raising to 32 and we need the current raid gear to reach 30, would be able to bypass the current set and get the new set to go right to 32? Or do we have to progress from 30 to 32? I am positive this has been mentioned before but I am way to lazy to look it up and I was just curious if anyone had a thought on it..

As soon as i posted this I had a thought about it and my thought was, "hmm since there is going to be more content, specifically hinting to the raid in this context, that may be a higher level and difficulty, it would make sense to have the first raid gear to be able to do the second one." I am more than happy to do the vog to reach level 30 and then do the next one but I've only spent a small amount of time there so ill have to catch up a bit. I didn't even attempt iron banner last time but now that there is level 30 gear I may have to give it a go. I am excited for the new content because I dont think I've played as much as everyone else with a job and what not. I do play as much as I can on the weekend so I think Destiny and I are still in our honeymoon phase but it is beginning to wear off.. still a great game and I have fun!

I'd be willing to bet that the crota raid will be a lvl 30 raid. Therefore requiring you to have all the current raid gear and all leveled up.

Good question and the answer is no but only if iron banner comes out again before the expansion. Iron banner is supposed to have gear thst gets you to lvl 30 but I read on ign interview that we will only be able to equip to of yhose armors.

I would hope you wouldn't but who knows at this point. Though I would expect to be able to bypass lvl thirty easy. My best bet is you get lvl thirty one legendary gear from the strikes and missions then get to 32 by the rai gear. Purely speculation though.

To me it seems like just save everything you have now, wait til the raid comes out, get your raid fear and spend everything on that.
