He knows there's no point. We can see through the BS.
On the hand, it also shows he and the team are aware of all the crap they are putting their fans through and aren't happy with trying to pimp a new DLC expa$ion while still not resolving outstanding issues.
Bungie need to openly address this rather than hide behind silence. Admit they've short changed their fans on content and make positive changes / quick wins to restore our trust.

I also wouldn't be surprised if there was a new community manager in the near future.

Doing this sort of job when your product is hugely flawed is a poisoned chalice. Believe me I've been a community manager for both good and bad products.

I can't help feeling that Activision has bungies hands tied.
I can't help feeling that Activision has bungies hands tied.
Hence the 500 million! That activision gave ;)

If that's true, I find it incredible that Jason Jones would have surrendered creative control over to Activision.
-
It's not creative control that is wrong. After all, the game is fun to play and has tons of potential. It's the deadlines and amount of content that Activision is controlling. They are notorious for squeezing money out of its consumers. That's what's going on here.

Activision's reputation is well known throughout the industry. Bungie signed anyway. Not saying it's impossible Bungie got blindsided by something but this fact remains.

No one sees it that way because bungie is the face that tells the public the bad news. Bungie, however, made some poor choices of their own through out development of this game but a lot comes from Activision.
