Both Xbox and PS players should be outraged at what's happening here. Regardless of what side you're on. To let a game developer -blam!- over either side is something we shouldn't stand for as a community. As an Xbox user, I would defend PS players if we got more in an expansion than they did and they still had to pay the same price as an Xbox gamer.
This is so disheartening to see players choosing a side over this and bungies complete disrespect of its player base.
Sigh.

You are correct and I may not buy the content. I would prefer to not have to consider that at all and if fairness were the point, this problem wouldn't exist in the first place. I want to support this game as I like it and believe it can evolve to be even better. I also want to support it due to all the bitching I hear about everything people don't like and I believe over time Bungie will smooth these things out. I want to spend my money on more content and support something different than your run of the mill shooter but I'm feeling like a second class citizen and I haven't done anything to warrant being treated that way.

I think the problem is having to wait a year to get the full content, NOT just not getting the full content after paying for the full content.

Understandable. However nobody lied about the content being made available for both consoles right on release. Bungie even said that the PS exclusive stuff would run through the expansions at E3 if I remember correctly. Like I said I understand and agree that it is a shitty way to do things for the consumer, but honestly, do you expect a corporation to care for what you think is fair? If the money is right they would do anything.....

It's not about the exclusivity, it a about the price. I understand console manufacturers have deals, but the fact that an Xbox user has to pay the same amount for less content is absurd. I have always defended PS players in regards to things like this.

Same way gamestop pays for extra content. The length of the exclusivity depends on how much Sony is paying for it. Microsoft has done the same with Tombraider and other games. Basically, as long as publishers are willing to accept such deals, Sony/Microsoft will continue to make this deals in the interest of their consoles. Edit: TLDR; I know you and I paid the same for the game but Sony is subsiding the extra content for me by paying Bungie on my behalf. Microsoft will probably do the same with a future bungie game.

I will. Because it really is unfair. We pay the same amount for the same game content don't we? If one paid more then yes it deserves the better. But since it's the same price it should be equal. So yes. I will defend ps4 as an Xbox one owner
