You know what bud? i was in the same boat as you. I had maybe one friend on ps4, and i had no games and no online capabilities. but having played both the xbox one and ps4 extensively, I can give you my honest opinion: PS4 is a smoother console. I've had few problems or errors, and rebuilding a firends list took me a week or two, but im better friends with anyone on my ps4 friend's list than the people I actually know and talk to who play on xbox. It really is up to you, but coming from a previously HUGE xbox fanboy, i honestly do believe that the playstation 4 is a better console to be on right now.

  • Same! I've had Xbox since the first. I've had PS3, but hardly used it. I have a brother that has Xbox One and I want to play with him, but I feel that game wise (yep, I am REALLY hyped on BloodBorne) PS4 is better. But I also know this person has a PS4 and is getting BloodeBorne.

  • If you're wondering why I am hyped so much. I beat Demon's Souls, beat Dark Souls 5 times, Dark Souls II 3 times, and have extensively played PvP in both Dark Souls games. Dark Souls II was a slight disappointment (still tons of fun) mostly because the main team has been working on BloodBorne. Because only the second team can work on the second Dark Souls, it wasn't as deep and good as the other two. I can also note that Dark Souls II started at the same time as BloodBorne, yet BloodBorne is being released a year later. So I am sure that it'll be a good game. Well, based on personal experience of the Souls games, and Alpha gameplay.

  • Well I'm glad that you're hyped for Bloodborne, but i highly recommend that you dont base your decision off of one game. Although the primary reason i got ps4 was because of all the destiny exclusivity, it seems more games run on 1080p on ps4, and amazing exclusives are coming to it that i made a good choice. System wise, they're pretty equal, but i hate the update sizes for the xbox one, and it runs a bit "chunkier" guess i could call it. But seriously, dont get the ps4 just because of bloodborne, there are many other reasons to get it, but be sure that they are the reasons you're looking for.

  • I know. I'm just gonna stick to my roots with Xbox considering I play CoD too, and unless Destiny is fixed for me I probably won't want to start over. So I'm just gonna get Xbox One, because I started with Xbox and was never very interested in PS. Plus, I have someone else that I could go to to get some gametime in BloodBorne, however small it would be. Thanks for lending me your opinion though :)
