God, I hope bungie is addressing the issue too. Events, Weapons, Strikes, All the stuff that PS got, it's not fair that Microsoft didn't pony up more money so I could have them too. It's only fair if we get it now that Sony already paid for it.
It's a business practice. That's just the way it is. You have choices, Wii, X1, PS4, PC, 3DS. Different companies. So they're all going to try and have their own things to get you to buy their product. That's just how it is. Microsoft wants me to go buy CoD on their console cause they'll have timed exclusives for it. I 'have' to buy sunset overdrive for my X1 cause Capcom is firmly in microsofts pocket. I play Destiny on PS4 cause Sony paid out for exclusives. Unless you go and start a revolution where only one game console will ever exist in the world, there will always be competition.

Love how all of these people that're bringing up other exclusive DLC ignore the fact that they're delaying it a year for xbox users. So please, go on about how other exclusive DLC systems like CoD are remotely as absurd as this.

I'm not arguing the fact that Sony paid for the exclusivity of it. That fact, I couldn't care about. I'm upset with the amount of time that Bungie is giving Sony for exclusive content. You want to act like an immature 12 year old, yet you seem to be ignoring the fact of the matter that if Bungie does this and people sit there and deal with it. It's going to do nothing but show other developers that charging higher prices in return for longer exclusive time is okay and they're going to start doing it. So, those nifty 1 month differences for most games will end up turning into a year. And then the fact that Bungie isn't forthcoming with the true timelines they're going to be forcing. The fact that they wait until most players have already bought the game and DLC pass to release this information is just pathetic and shows that they're scared of the backlash. Not only are they slapping the community that got them to where they are (Bungie would be nothing if it wasn't for Halo) but now they're just trying to change how the whole exclusive DLC system works and abuse it for more money. But hey, you enjoy that one strike. Best not come whining when other games follow Bungie's lead and start selling 1-2 year exclusive timelines for DLC because people like you are okay with it.

I actually like your idea.... I think that is exactly what i will end up doing... One console, not owned by company but by people though no way to hack for multiplayer games..... Actually now that i think about it.... I was accepted to distribute, locally, a list of high end tech, one of those is an AI computer with greater awareness and intelligence than humanities current capacity/potential... it has a ridiculous amount of application and its hack-proof regardless of hackers capabilities. It's ready for mass distribution only waiting on political and social barriers to come down.... it would be very easy to ask engineers to allow for playing all video games... Yea i think I will do that, thanks for idea Not Dave. :D
