would you rather just not get any of the expansion for 3 months? like ps users have had to do with cod expansions ofr the last decade?

Well, 3 months [i]is[/i] shorter than a year. So let's weigh the options. Get no content for 3 months and then have access to all of it for the remaining 9, or get some of the content for a year and then get access to obsoleted gear after the year is over. I'll take the first option.
