Didn't even notice the strike exclusive for sony. How much bullshit is bungie going to pull? It's like a toddler throwing a fit because their parents wouldn't give them what they want. For the community that made your company what it is, and kept it alive for 13 years, this is a real roll of quarters to the ass. So we have to pay the same price as PS users, but by the end of the year they will have 2 more strikes than us? I'm all for fair competition, play what you want, but when shit like this happens it only hurts the gamers. Glad I didn't buy the season pass. I'm not supporting bungie with anymore of my money. Not to mention this DLC is absolutely overpriced. These story missions will be the same "defend dinkle, shoot enemies" with lines of dialogue here and there. You'll only play them once and that's it. So you're paying $20 for 1 raid, 1 strike, and 3 multiplayer maps that you won't play because there isn't a map rotation. What the hell happened to you bungie?

I agree, and people overall need to do the same or not just Bungie, but all of activisions games. Destiny is the last thing I am buying from activision. I'm not giving in to their DLC crap. Not to mention this same publisher lied about dedicated servers for cod ghosts, and high moon studios, which did activisions transformers games admitted on twitter, they couldn't patch their bugs because activision wouldn't let them. What they have done with destiny seems like it was purposely designed with a money making formula, few missions, a strike, and probably all in the same fashion of the already bland repetitive mission style that they already have. If this game had all of this future 'DLC' on the game, that would be something else. Skyrim for example has tons of content that comes with the disc, destiny feels like it was made similar to that, but to have it all, you'll have to pay for DLC. I call BS

Exactly. I never even finished the main story of skyrim, but I played it for months. I didn't buy the DLC because I didn't feel like I needed it, I still had so much content to do. Bungie and activision have take the exact opposite route.

Microsoft saw promise in them, partnered with them, funded their games, and we bought them for 10 years. I'd say they owe Xbox some respect.

They created another game for the platform? I mean, really, being a consumer doesn't entitle you to anything. We already have the ultimate entitlement in being able to decide how we spend money.

It isn't entitlement though, it's good business practices. If you went into a store regularly and the staff all recognized you, they gave you deals, and made you feel at home, then one day they say they will only give out certain items to someone else, wouldn't you be a little pissed? You should never divide your customer base, especially if you are short changing those that supported you.

Ps4 gets 2 extra planets, ps4 gets 2 more strikes. Clearly bungie doesnt just want to flip off microsoft but everyone who plays on an xbox too. This game is just a fake ass halo with gear progression. Once the master chief collection is here i wont let the door hit me on the way out cause ill already be outside waiting. After putting over 300 hours into destiny there isnt much for me to do except farm a couple items or make an alt, so new content is what would have kept me playing; i will not, however, pay bungie 40% of the cost of the original game for a new setting to listen to 5 neckbeards argue over strategies. Im glad they no longer are in charge of the halo franchise because this kind of shit would have killed the series.

Where does it say PS gets 2 extra planets?! If so that's just the cherry on top of this bullshit Sundae. People bash 343 for halo 4, but they have listened to every piece if criticism for halo 5 and the MCC. Bungie is just as much of an empty shell as destiny is. I won't be mindlessly buying their games like I used to, and I sure as hell am not buying more repetitive content that costs $20.

No, I'm not whining and saying "bring it to xbox or I quit life". I don't care what system you're on, content shouldn't be locked to a specific side. It only hurts the people that want to support the game, but aren't getting the full amount of content. And saying "buy a ps4 then" isn't a valid argument. No one is going to spend $500 to get some extra content, so this doesn't even help the console. It just makes everyone look like an asshole.

so ford partners with microsoft and gets the sync system in there new cars. you bought a gm product that didnt buy this from microsoft. and this makes microsoft or ford evil and greedy for making a deal with each other for a product. if you want the ford sync system in your car you need to now buy a ford. even if you supported gm your entire life. its clear that ford is now selling what you want. if you dont want it dont buy it. but wait gm bought a lesser version of this product from microsoft. seems gm is the company to blame for not securing the product you wanted.
