I'm not sure 'timed exclusive' is accurate when that 'time' is a year. It's more like "we're going to take your season pass money now, and if you're still playing after a year, we'll let you have the rest"

Regardless, it was announced as a timed exclusive in the game advertising and they gave a timeline of a year at that time. Not sure how you missed that. It isn't their fault you did though.
