[u]Business politics 101[/u]: If a customer likes the company and/or product/service, then they are more than likely to complain about it if there is an issue. They want their concerns to be heard in hopes of a continued relationship between the company & the consumer. If the customer has no real opinion of the company/product/service or a negative one, then they are more than likely not to say anything at all and simply take their business elsewhere.
