Would someone please point me to an article, posting, etc. wherein Activision/Bungie gave notice to Xbox One/360 owners that they were going to pay an equal amount of money for the Expansion Pass for less content than what PS3/4 owners will receive? I couldn't find it listed anywhere on the digital download notes. Just curious for whether I will purchase future Bungie games.
Release date differences aside, I don't think one can equate the COD timed-exclusives with how the Destiny timed-exclusives are being handled, unless the same timed-exclusive DLC rollout method was used by Activision against PS3/4 owners in the past. Xbox One/360 owners will probably be charged additional money for a complete game (if this game will ever feel complete for either console manufacturer), as I doubt it will be released in a free title update. Has Activision ever forced a staggered COD DLC rollout with additional charges upon PS3/4 owners without informing the PS3/4 owners that they will have to pay more? If so, then we, the combined gaming community consisting of console gamers, PC gamers and mobile gamers, should be vocal in our objections to the practice.
I don't have a problem with companies negotiating exclusive deals, so long as I am aware of what I am getting prior to purchase. However, I do have a problem if companies profit from deception.
Based upon how this game is being patched/supported, I wouldn't be surprised if Activision/Bungie are intentionally deceiving us.

It was pretty common knowledge that playstation had exclusives. That's the way these things work.

Timed exclusives. If they were true exclusives it would have been obvious we were paying for less content. I won't have a problem if the time - exclusive content is released in a free title update to those who purchased the Expansion Pass or the individual DLC.

You're really gonna gripe over two 20 minute at most strikes? Not worth it.

All of the Destiny ads that's said you'd get a better experience playing it on playstation. They weren't shy about it.
-
Ya but, xbox users shouldnt pay more for less

You'll get it eventually it's not for less. They're not pulling a fast one on all of the Xbox players. They were open on the better experience on playstation. See how you're not enjoying the announcement and playstation players are enjoying it? They are in fact having a better experience.

Nah i dont care. I just dont want to spend $20 on an incomplete dlc. If i pay full $$, i get full dlc. Im not complaining, just saying im not buying it yet

Very difficult to argue "better experience" is equivalent to "you pay less money on PS3/4," or "Xbox One/360 will pay more money for the same content." In addition, no warnings were given in the release notes at the time of purchase.
