I have to wait a year to play the same thing and that is just an estimate you can't take their word on shit especially not an update to give me the content that I paid for. Timed exclusive content would be around 3-4 months after release a year is a screw over plain and simple. Yeah give me the guns after they are nerfed to hell and worthless

It was advertised that way! If you didn't want to wait, you should not have purchased it. You have no ground to stand on to complain. It's like if I buy a movie ticket a week in advance (for a movie that is already out) and stand at the counter screaming because they won't let me into the theater a week early. The moral of the story for you is to learn to be a more aware consumer. If they say timed exclusive to be released to Xbox after one year, don't buy the damn thing if you don't want to wait a year. Period. It isn't complicated. Your example of 3-4 months is also ridiculous because they advertised the timing of the exclusive as ONE YEAR. You bought it anyway. And you will wait the promised one year before they give it to you.

  • That example has nothing to do here you bought the ticket a week early you are going to get to see the movie when it's released with everyone who paid for it.

You bought the content a year early. It's exactly the same thing. And no, in my example, the movie is released already.

  • Okay this is getting ridiculous you just edited that. Also I will continue to feel this way it's bullshit that the content is out in a year it's not even a lot of content it wouldn't be more that 3gb but we have to wait a year we are pretty much paying for that piece off old content.

No shit I edited it. I added more words so you would understand what I was trying to say, since you didn't understand what was there. You also avoided my other very clear example elsewhere. The only thing here that's ridiculous is your lack of understanding of what you were buying. It isn't bullshit, at all. You're entitled and payed zero attention to the advertising for what you were buying. You just make yourself look like a bratty kid the more you complain about it. You paid for the content a year in advance and you will not get it any sooner. Next time, don't buy something a year in advance. It's literally that simple. If a company says you won't get something for a year, don't buy it anyway and then bitch.

  • So next time I should wait a year to buy a game?

  • This is very simple. If you wanted the exclusive content immediately, you should have bought a PS. That's the entire purpose of exclusives like that, to drive sales to a specific platform. Again, not rocket science here. Sony paid a shitload of money to get those exclusives to try and drive up sales of their product. It's common practice. MS/Xbox chooses to buy entire games sometimes: Tomb Rader, Halo, Titanfall... Had MS/Xbox paid MORE money for their CoD exclusives, they would have been for a year, not for a month. Sony was smarter there. Go petition MS/Xbox if you want to see longer timed exclusives. You, the consumer, were clearly told from day one that the Xbox would not see that content for ONE YEAR. You opted to not take the bait to jump platforms to get that content now, but instead chose to stand by Xbox and wait a year for the content. Now, be a good Xbox fanboy and shut up about it. Or go buy a PS. As for me, I'm going to stop playing Skyrim on my Xbox and switch to Destiny on my PS to go kill some vex with my Monte Carlo while thinking about how lovely it is to be console agnostic.
You're still avoiding my question from my other post, too.
• So what you are basically saying is that I should buy a playstation if I want to get exclusive content for one game?

  • You should smarten up and pay attention to the advertising for the game you want, and if exclusives are important to you, buy accordingly. The purpose of the exclusives is to entice people into buying the console that has them. Seriously, what is wrong with you?

  • Okay so next time I plan on trusting a well known and popular company I should read the very fine print and to get the best deal spend extra money for no reason?

  • It wasn't very fine print, it was an entire ad campaign. It's nobody's fault but your own you didn't understand it.

  • So essentially what you are saying is that it was advertised on a trailer and billboards that it was going to releasing content a year later and we the consumer were fed this information?
