Okay DeeJ, here is my two cents. I can accept that exclusive content is the order of the day in the console business in 2014. That said, the way you all are approaching it is completely fracked. Your sin isn't in giving PlayStation owners exclusive content, it's charging Xbox owners for content we don't receive. If you were to release The Dark Below as a timed PlayStation exclusive for 3-6 months and then let us buy the same content, I think most of us would understand. Unfortunately, you've chosen to release the expansion to everyone and gimp one version, essentially giving half your community a giant middle finger. I'm curious if anyone at Bungie who claim to care about your fans and community in any way, actually go to bed at night believing it. Since Destiny was announced, I haven't thrown any stones over the perceived PlayStation favoritism because I understand that in the end, it's business. You make games to make money. The thing is though, even a business has to have a soul. If you want to create and sell content exclusively to PlayStation owners all day long, be my guest. Just don't charge me for their content. Here's hoping you all can find your soul again, because all the money in the world can't buy it back.

You say Xbox customers are being charged for something they aren't getting. Not necessarily true. You might just as well say that PlayStation customers are getting the extra content for free, paid for in advance by Sony. If anything, Xbox owners should be unhappy with Microsoft for allowing Sony to one up them. PlayStation owners should be pleased that Sony are securing additional content on behalf of their customers at no extra cost.

  • I have both the PS4 & XB1 and have destiny on both. I don't think we should be so quick to say gamers should be upset with Microsoft and happy with Sony most players got the game for the console they had and bought it thinking that they would be able to play Destiny when it came out and that was a decision made almost a year ago not knowing that this deal between Activision and Sony was made no it was published online but most gamers were like is destiny coming out for the system I got? Bungie should be held accountable as they had to know Xbox players would feel shafted and by the time the Xbox gets any of it, it will have already been replaced by the DLC and in order to get the gear it's still based on RNG Last thing I'll say is the PS extras are a bit on the lame side and not just the weapons but all of it & that is the only thing that makes up for the fact that you have to wait for 1 yr

No, Bungie are not accountable at all. Most likely, the exclusivity deal was struck between Sony and Activision anyway and there is nothing wrong at all with it. The fact is, Sony have paid money so that their customers can enjoy additional content sooner and at no extra cost, so Xbox owners who say they aren't getting what they paid for are just plain wrong. Sony have done this to gain market share. That's what businesses do, compete to gain an advantage by offering a better product/deal to their customers. Would you be happier to hear that Microsoft and Sony had colluded to fix prices and rip off their customers? I for one am happy that they are still genuine competitors and not a cartel.

When I say held accountable I mean they have to accept that some of their customers are going to feel like didn't get what they paid for at the end of the day Bungie made the game and someone at Bungie Corp knew that the deal they signed with Activision could lead to upset customers and the common feeling that many XBOX customers made the wrong choice in buying an Xbox that's another debate for another time. we all bought the game to play it and have fun and when Xbox customers found out that parts of the game were blocked off but the game was the same price as the PS4 version they would understandably feel short changed one thing we all need to understand is that Microsoft , Sony, Activision & Bungie are not our friends they are in business selling things to consumers and customers have a right to complain If they feel cheated and sadly Video games can not be returned so when we buy a game and don't Like it or find out that we only got part of the product we paid for all we can do is post to forums
