For the amount of gameplay and fun I have gotten out this game, I consider the price to be very reasonable.
Also, xbox live gold price doesn't count, as most people already have it. It falls in with the price of the console. For that, blame Microsoft.
Back in the 90's, the marathon trilogy box set cost more, with less content (map editor not withstanding) than you see in destiny, yet nobody complained to bungie about that.
To gripe and whine about having to pay for an optional expansion pack displays nothing but an unreasonable sense of self-entitlement that is all too common in this day and age.
As an amature game developer, merely putting the level geometry in is only a fraction of the work, as most of the assets are already used elsewhere. The real work (audio recording, set piece layouts, and cutscenes) was not even close to completed for those areas when the disk shipped, so your "cut content" whining does not hold up under close scrutiny.
-Also, the raid and strike were not on the disk.
If you are to complain, use valid arguments instead of parroting out lines fed to you by disgruntled teenagers with no experience in the field they refer to.
