Xbox live gold is not free and bungie requires it. Not Microsoft. In have if you do not have a gold account bungie tells you, random member or your friends, Xbox live gold required.
This isn't the 80's or 90's . Unfortunately crappie game developers that are greedy have found that RELEASE & PATCH IS AN ACCEPTABLE MANNER OF BUSINESS. My Nintendo games didn't crash, my Sega games didn't crash not dreamcast or original Xbox nothing... If there were any problems they were fixed free in the way of free dlc.
