What was "The Templar", but an overgrown hydra? What was "Atheon", but a bigger than usual minotaur? We'll be getting new exotic weapons, new armor, new bounties, new missions, AND new "Crucible" arenas. I'd say all that's worth about $20.

You're wrong the lack of story missions and strikes will be this games end.

"Strike" and "Story" missions are both part of the pack. Same thing for "The House of Wolves".

Have you heard of the "Call of Duty: Ghosts" dlc packs? $20 for 1 measly weapon (for use in multiplayer only), 4 multiplayer maps, and 1new "Extinction" mission (all of which, I feel, are terrible). THAT'S a REAL rip-off. At least with THIS we get SOMETHING.

I don't play ghosts. I agree they are both ripoffs.

It's good for you that you don't play "Ghosts". I, sadly, payed about $40 for it, but it isn't worth a cracked poker chip, and neither is "Black Ops 2".
