Bungie could have been made either way. Did you know they were originally backed by Apple and the first Halo was supposed to be for Mac?
-
Supposed to be. Could have been. Was intended for. And didn't happen. It was on Xbox.

Brilliant deduction, Sherlock. What was being suggested is that even if Microsoft hadn't thrown wads of cash Bungie's way, they could have been backed by Apple, the company who ran the expo they announced Halo at, who's currently doing better than Microsoft last time I checked. Microsoft didn't do anything for them nobody else could have done; if anything Microsoft owes Bungie for making the Xbox such a success.

I forgive you for not having a clue of what you're talking about. Cite me some sources, and then we'll have a reasonable debate.

Sure would. I can't help but notice your graph doesn't go very far back, say, about the time Halo: CE was released. I played Halo when it was new. Hell, I played Marathon to death on my high school's iMacs. Let me tell you, Apple wasn't very much then. What else do you have for me?
