Well that's the same with most MMO's generally though. If they do it right, the new raid will -require- raid gear from VoG in order for you to not be stomped around in it. Given Destiny's track record with failing to manage simple tasks however, I'd say yes. Putting the game away until the release sounds the smart thing to do. Or put it away altogether, sell it to a reseller while it's still got value, wait a year or so, then buy it after this paid beta is over, when all the DLC will be cheaper and bundled.
