I like how a lot of people on these forums are complain about how bungie is screwing a "loyal or dedicated" gamer when most of them have been on these forum for a year or less... Unlike me who has been there for years, I'm excited for the dlc... Sucks for the xbone users about the now two strikes they will be missing out on but that's business... It's the same story with the new tomb raider game and all cod games...(you Guys can keep cod) different consoles get exclusives... These forums are just a giant bitch fest... People hate and say they will never play it again but are back online within hours... Hypocrites

Honestly I'm not a huge fan of a year long exclusive only because it kinda does screw the Xbox player. I have no problem with exclusives, and if it were the same model that COD does I wouldn't complain. Hell if it were a 2 month difference I wouldn't complain. Problem for us Xbox players is that the game is going to be a year old by the time we see this content. Most of us will have moved on to other games out of sheer boredom. Weekly events are great for keeping the game fresh but if any are like they have been... Ya nope. I really think its just bad business practice on bungie's part. It really alienates the Xbox community. DLC is supposed to keep people around and make experiences feel fresh and new but after a year Xbox players won't really care anymore. The game will be so played out Xbox players will be far less like to buy it in after a year of waiting.

You're comparing month long exclusives to year long exclusives. You think this many people would be complaining if it was actually the same system as COD used? Timed exclusives suck but year long exclusives stop people buying it in the first place.

I get that, I would see how that would turn away a large portion of the community but if it was CoD doing that same to ps4 users I'm sure there wouldn't be a big backlash like there for destiny...
