You're comparing month long exclusives to year long exclusives.
You think this many people would be complaining if it was actually the same system as COD used?
Timed exclusives suck but year long exclusives stop people buying it in the first place.

I get that, I would see how that would turn away a large portion of the community but if it was CoD doing that same to ps4 users I'm sure there wouldn't be a big backlash like there for destiny...

Because PS players have better things to do than play COD in the first place. Like play real games, or housework, or grinding at my eyeballs with a pumice stone.
