A LINE HAS BEEN CROSSED
I for one am not going to purchase this DLC and I would like to encourage as many people as I can to do the same.
This is a tipping point in gaming history, developers and publishers are currently seeing just how much they can get away with (how far they can push the line).
If they can make half a game/falsely advertise a game and still make just as much/more profit from it they will, this will lead to other companies following in their footsteps.
They will then push the line even further and will continue to do so until it stops being profitable (when people stop buying their games).
I say that this is where we draw the line. They don't care if we aren't satisfied by the half finished game they made as long as they are making more profit, the only way to stop these types of games from being produced is to show them it's less profitable. So join me and don't purchase the DLC.
tl:dr- don't buy the god dam DLC

If you don't want to play the dlc don't buy it. Pretty much any "big" or decent game that comes out now will have dlc content . It's how companies will make money without charging everyone like $100 for the game

Edited by Lightmare: 10/30/2014 1:59:30 PMDon't want to play the DLC????? Don't be so quick to make assumptions. I would love to play the DLC for this game, the reason I'm not going to is due to the fact that I'm not going to buy it because I would much rather support the long term cause I mentioned in my first post (above) which could potentially change gaming forever. I would much rather games of the future be better quality more complete games which I can enjoy much more rather than play this games DLC which I will most likely forget in a years time. Edit: I am more than willing to pay for DLC content, that's not my issue, my issue is that the original game is incomplete and they are selling us it in pieces and I don't want this to become the trend, which it will do if it is successfull. If people don't buy the DLC the developers and publishers will realise selling an incomplete game in pieces isn't making them money and they won't do it.

All I can say is good luck then. Gamers will be gamers. They are going to be dlc , that's how we play.

I think we should do a week of not logging on to the game. If thousands of people quit playing in response to this then some eyes should open up.
