That would be true if we were back in the 90's or even early 2000's but "The times they are a changing". Unfortunately the dlc era is all but taken over no matter what we want this is what the future holds for us as a society of gamers. As tech and the industry changes so must we it is not profitable to just sell a core game any more bc of wow it started with their business model. This is what we get to look forward too a base game that gets updated far too often.:(
