Bungie have said all along we will all be unique "Snow Flakes" but yet we all look the same?! Now with lvl 32 does that mean I can't use the gear I have now? Or can I upgrade it past light 30?
The reason I ask is I love my Warlock raid helmet & would like to continue using it and not be forced to stop just to get to 32.

You'll need all new gear to hit 32, which sucks but at least it'll show a progression of your character as you advance through future content.

Edited by ValorDLX: 10/30/2014 3:51:07 AMI've seen evidence of exotic upgrade materials. New mechanic. Think they're trying out quite a few new things in this go around. Search youtube or Google it, but I've seen this. Heard Crota's End on hard was supposed to be a level 32 raid and the normal was level 28...Odd gap, but would make sense with making use of the level cap and all...

Correct, you'll be able to upgrade your gear past 30 with new materials they're adding into the game. You'll also be able to upgrade your weapons damage also.

Edited by ValorDLX: 10/30/2014 4:15:39 AMIntensely curious about this. The one possible relief I've considered about the dlc is that having another raid will give people like myself a reason to have more than one raid to do a week for ultimate rewards...My issue is the Vex Mythoclast evading me at all costs. :/ But with more gear and weapons, maybe it won't matter anymore whether I ever get the Vex Mythoclast anyways? I dunno, Bungie def needs to step up their game, but only time will tell with this dlc. Only a month and some change away...

It would only make sense that you would need new gear since each piece of armor and weaponry can only be upgraded so much. That's why their adding new legendaries and exotics.
