It's funny how CoD releases a dlc that is only 3 maps and a one mission and everyone is gun hoe yet destiny offers 3 missions a long raid 2 strikes weapons armor and lvl cap increase and everyone complains. Grow up people

Well my complaint isn't that bungie should let us have the dlc for free, dlc is dlc, but destiny just doesn't have enough content to keep me playing, right now I'm only online because I'm grinding to get legendary gear so I can do VoG, once I've completed it I won't be playing any more destiny. The game missed monumental areas it could have done well, a survival game type? Wave after wave of whatever alien makes the most sense, you and your team got shot down and marooned on some planet. Any type of ground war where we would have to team up with large numbers of people to fight off and hold our ground (but unlike public events it would actually matter if you didn't do it). Space combat? We all have space fighters for crying out loud. How about any variation in PvP game types? Custom games? Map editor? So many missed opportunities to make this game great... That's what I'm disappointed about.

I do agree that they should add more game types bc there is a lot of doing the same thing. My argument was that everyone is complaining about buying the dlc when my point is that they don't complain about buying dlc for other games. There just bashing bungie bc they didn't get what they wanted

I get what you're saying, even if Bungie gave them free dlc they wouldn't stop complaining though, they'd finish those missions and the go onto the next complaining bandwagon

I love COD, but found it very hard to shell out twenty bucks for maps. Bungie needs better writing to boot. They seem not to take chances with this material. No REAL humor, or fate changing hooks. Just brutal beatings on a vanilla pallet. The game mechanics are second to none. The story has potential like no other. But yet, it seems they make your time (story wise) as safe, and bland as it gets!

Skyrim, still my go to, besides fallout. Lol. But it has it's flaws as well, but great game overall, by any measurements.

Well you cant compare the two because COD is clearly a FPS that is also multiplayer with the basics of a decent story line. Destiny is along the lines of a MMFPSRPG that lacks the content and story that it has boasted it would have. Now granted all MMO's are repetitive but with destiny it really lacks content that should have been available since its launch. And while understandable that PS users have slightly more content it is still a garbage move to charge $20.00 all across the board for content that should have already been in game at launch.

1 strike and 1 raid (ok 2strikes for PS users, but that a whole different deal and im not gonna get into that) Im ok with 1raid, i mean ill only get rewards off of it once a week so its not like ill be doing it alot. The 3 regular missions are not even worth mentioning. The PvP maps are a plus, but more PvP content is not what destiny needs at the moment. I expected more than just 1 strike n 1 raid, as an expansion. Not even a new planet.

Ok, I get what you're saying about wanting more content in the original game, I'm for that too. But I do feel the quantity is comparable to a map pack from cod. As for a new planet, I'm not sure I need that. What if rushing a new planet with new textures and design and whatnot would mean skimping on what's IN that environment. I personally would be happier fleshing out the 4 places we've already seen. I am looking forward to more worlds but there's plenty of untapped areas available in what's been given.

Thats the reason why alot of ppl started disliking CoD, because of the whole DLC, now Destiny is doing it. Also, they knew that they were gonna release Dlc's for this game so they had time to make new planets, they just decided not to. Destiny needs content PvE wise, and 1 strike n a raid isnt gonna cut it for a long awaited expansion.

Just because other games do it doesnt make it right. And i knew that it was the hive, but they have control over the game, they could have added a new planet, at the very minimum, added 1 more planet. I love destiny, but 1 strike n 1 raid is not what i was expecting from the long awaited Expansion.
