My point is there are exotic bounties far harder than the Vault and yet the Fatebringer and Mythoclast are the best guns because of the Vault? All Legendary gear should provide the same light in the end, just as not one Exotic should be better than others. Different abilities and play styles, yes. But pre-nerfed Mythoclast was way over the top, just as Fatebringer is now.

I get what your saying but at the same time I don't I think your saying that those two guns are beast right ? I have to say no to that because it is how a player plays. And I don't think exotic and legendary stuff should be the same the exotic should get 350 dmg not 300 like legendary. I confused my self just now sorry if you don't understand

Pre-nerf Mythoclast could down a player in PvP in 4 rapid shots, 3 to head. Now, personally, it is reasonable. I got one post-nerf and enjoy using it and it feels like the other Exotics do. I have only heard now insane the Fatebringer is and have to wonder now long before they nerf that too. I agree though, Exotics should be above Legendary. But there should never been a single go to Exotic that is defined as "the best". It brings around the same problems of auto rifles/shotguns in the Crucible. There should never be a single mega weapon that by default is better than any other.
