You seem to forget that Bungie spent years, literally, carefully avoiding calling the game an MMO. You seem to forget their statements in developer blogs and ViDocs claiming they didn't want their game to be a grindfest. Then they released.. a grindfest. As someone who has been a subscriber to Warcraft for 9 of those 10 years, I could run down a list of why your comparison is flawed - starting with the sheer amount of content released at launch of Vanilla WoW vs. the poor excuse of content in Destiny - but it would take too long and you wouldn't bother reading it anyway.
