Yep, Sony’s snagged themselves yet another Destiny exclusive: one of The Dark Below‘s strike missions — you know, the ones where you and two other players go through quasi-dungeons and take on powerful bosses — is only for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Bungie says the exclusive is until “at least” fall of 2015, which means that for at least the next year, Xbox players will miss out on a large chunk of The Dark Below.
That’s on top of the already-PlayStation-exclusive Dust Palace strike, so if you’re keeping track, by the second week of December, PlayStation owners will have eight strikes while Xbox players only have six. Of course, it’s been clear for months now that Bungie has firmly sided with Sony in the battle for your living room, but that hasn’t stopped Xbox fans from feeling ripped off. How can you blame them? They’re paying the same amount of money as PlayStation players, yet getting less stuff.

Considering i remember it was for launch purposes. I bever saw any thing that included exclusives in DLCs, well they can wait on my money for when everything is accessible on xbox for fair payment in my oppinion.

It's an exclusive for a reason just like forza, I'm a ps4 player and I love forza but I can't get it..why? Cause it's exclusive! Jut like Fifa. Fifa in Xbox gets legends while ps4 does not. Stop crying they have said it was a ps4 exclusive way before release so if you feel ripped off then you shouldn't have gotten it in the first place
-
Yes the release had exclusives, my post said that. No where before the launch of the game was it said that expansions had exclusives that part you didnt read. So you must me a Playsuction junkie have fun with crappy playstation server service.

The exclusive content plans were revealed pretty early. They also mentioned it would be an ongoing partnership.
-
Well they can keep that partnership cause by the time xbox gets the access many other games will rise as this one finally falls.

Don't get me wrong. I think exclusive deals are dumb. Early access to CoD dlc was just as shady. But Sony and Activision made no secret about the deals.. Microsoft straight up bought titanfall exclusivity and recently purchased a tomb raider timed exclusive. It's all very dumb.

Im sorry comparing how this dlc is to COD is a poor example. For one it is only one month difference. 2 when the content is released it is the exact same content. Ps players dont have to wait almost a year for the fourth map. Im not really complaining about exclusive content its just the release period that has most xbox players toasted. Should not have to wait almost a year for content. That was stupid and selfish,

Perhaps this is a reaction to Microsoft straight up buying Titanfall to keep it off the PS4. The head of the studio creating the game was unaware his own game was locked as a console exclusive. It was a backroom deal between Microsoft and EA. In case the significance isn't clear, it means the PS4 version exists. It was being worked on alongside the Xbox version but Microsoft paid EA not to sell it. You lament over a few scraps (stike, map, mission), being exclusive for a year. However there has already been a worse precedent. An entire game kept off a competing platform forever. Microsoft hinted the franchise would always be locked down to their xbox. Luckily the XBOne sold so poorly they don't have the leverage to make that happen again (i.e. Halo). EA sees the +10million PS4 install base and wants some of that action now. Microsoft cannot afford to keep the sequel off the PS4 this time.
