VAT at 20% still applies to this DLC.
£12.50 +VAT = £17.50
I agree that £20 is overpriced, but not by as much as everyone's claims.
Not only should you level a complaint to Bungie but also write a letter to your politician about the high VAT levels.

True but there is an American equivalent of VAT that when combined with the cost gives $20. Our VAT should apply to that base price which is something I mention. Specifically the 40% comment as we have different taxation on digital/electronic goods. Even still, what does this £2.50 net me? An investment in a company that demonstrates that it thinks I'm a mug for charging me it in the first place!

The Americans have a Sales Tax that is between 0% and 10% depending on state and product. Also I must point out that my maths in my original statement was a bit poor. £12.50 +VAT = £15 We are paying over the odds. This is nothing new. But to solely blaim one company for this is absurd. There are many in the chain. Bungie, Activision, Microsoft, Government. There are likely more factors than this, but people don't like to do research when they can happily shout at a brick wall.

Seriously though. Prices in the big 3 are a 2 and some zeros. There is laziness and ultimately greed all over this.

Thanks for the info. No worries, I'm ashamed I missed that % foible as well.

This seems a bit better £30 for both. I think the real issue isn't exchange rate, its the price, US included.
