I just hope the UK supermarkets do there usual thing and reduce the price the day after release as a loss leader. Only thing is it's one thing to drop the price of a physical disc down to £35 from £54.99 on release day. Not so sure with a digital code. Perhaps Bungie and other company's aren't aware that in the UK we don't actually ever pay £50 for a game because you can go to a supermarket and buy it £10 cheaper on release day and £15 a week later. That's probably why £20 expansion on a £54.99 doesn't seem to bad to them. But the reality of £20 expansion on £35 game is a ripoff.

It's also the reasons I have yet to buy digital on anything but indies, as they are all priced at £10-£15 more than buying an actual physical copy from amazon which is stupid

Yeah I can't recall the last time I paid over £40, nearly all games are £40 from amazon, making £20 half the price of a brand new game...the only exception I have found is diablo ultimate evil edition for ps4 which is stubbornly sitting at 45-50 everywhere it's odd...it's actually what has held me off on buying it, seems small but it's just enough for me to think twice, which is what is happening with this dlc...id buy it in a heartbeat at $20 though
