Wait whut? The legend of Zelda: OoT little content? Wait ... Whut? No seriously, wait whut?
In the first two years of OoT I played over 500 hours and still I hadn't found every single collectible in the game. The DD expansion made that universe even bigger. What the hell are you even saying? Sure Destiny has more content in terms of character customizability but it's nowhere near OoT in terms of replayability and shear fun replaying the storyline. That's the real benchmark to me. The only flaw it has is that this benchmark is very subjective so I can see why you have another experience.
But seriously, that comparison made me shiver in my Hyrule pants.

I was waiting for a comment like that. I played Zelda for years, same with golden eye. If destiny was out back then with shit graphics and no multiplayer we would still play the hell out of it.

Good point but back then this game wouldn't be able to hold a candle to either of those. But we're really comparing two totally different franchises from two extremely different gaming ages. Let's be honest. 2015 is light years ahead of 1995. So we can't just compare 'em rationally right? Damn, getting old real fast all of a sudden...

Yea i am a terrible debater, a somewhat old one also. I admit that destiny lacks things i am used to in both FPS games and RPG games, but to flat out say destiny is a terrible game i feel unfair to bungie. I love the crucible, simple things can be done here to make it great. More gameplay modes, and a ranking system. The raid was awesome. I agreed with bungie at first with the matchmaking thing, but i was wrong. They need one asap. Merchants, crafting and trading needs to be put in the game. Hubs on each planet would also be good, with each unique reason to be there. It has potential, but i still feel its a good game. Compared to all the games i have played in my life, nostalgia is not valid. We were not so demanding back then, doing useless stuff for hours was fine.

Agreed 100%. Bad debater you say? :p
