What you've said took the words out of my mouth. Well said and what you wrote about the fight for humanity and gaining/losing territory is spot on. Ive been searching for that feeling too. As im sure many have. If they added a defense horde mode it would be epic. The easiest way id see it done is on each planet there are already "zones". Why not have a daily message sent to guardians saying things like "The Grotto is under invasion by the hive", or "The Rocketyard is being overrun by fallen". Then there's a total kill count for that area for the day. If we as a community kill the required amount of enemies to repel the area we then get a community reward, like a piblic event, maybe even get a temporary spawn point since we hold the area. They could have 2 of these events happen daily so we as a community would have to chose what to defend, or if we could save both. Theres so many ideas that could make this game have that feeling of being united against the Darkness. Sadly there isnt enough being used. Thats just my thoughts.
