Have you ever bought a DLC for an actual MMO? Level raises, new worlds, items, ect. I love the game, I do, probably clocked in over a weeks worth of play time. But you can only do the same monotonous, bullet sponge, high HP, mission over and over. The thing most of us are struggling with for this price is we spent close to $70 for a game that honestly didn't feel complete. To add the insult to that, the first thing you saw open the game was the slip falling out for the new DLC. That means they worked on the game side by side with the DLC; which, could have easily been put...IN THE GAME.

I have not actually, and I agree there could be more. I have my own complaints with the game (bullet sponge, bland and basically reskinned bosses are one of many), but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying the game with my friends. Rather than yell at Bungie we laugh at it. Sure this could have been so much more, but it's too late to do any major changes now. Maybe Destiny 2 will be entirely different game, but you already know what you're getting with Destiny. There is so little to do I only play it couple of times a week now, when my friends are online, because alone this game is too boring IMO. Again, it does not stop me from enjoying what's in it for me rather than complaining about what isn't...

  • Like I said, I enjoy the game. I enjoy grinding and I've clocked in more hours than I've put into most relationships I've been in. But the fact is: I'm not going to be an enabler. I'm not going to say "boo they're not doing this" or "boo this thing sucks". They know the complaints. But unlike a woman with her alcoholic husband who thing he will get better if she just spends more time on it, I won't be buying the DLC. Call it a personal pride of some sorts. When I see the promise of addressing some aspects I feel left out, maybe. But bitching about the game would be a fallacy because I have played so much, but again, I'm not up for the same disappointment once again.

  • And that is totally fine. You had a choice to buy a game which you did and got your money's worth (and more by the looks of it). Buying DLC is same decision. You can always wait till it goes on sale (because everything does) and maybe then you will feel price is more adequate to content. I already have season pass with my CE, so there is really no thinking about it for me, but I would probably end up getting it just to play some more with friends;-)
