What they really need is a dynamic shift in the gameworld. We have to be invested. Maybe an mmo style assault of the tower from enemies, or even a faction vs. faction crucible game. I'd like to show those new monarchy a thing or two with my sweet FWC gear.

even a public event in the tower where vex and hive invade .. and all players at the tower at this point need to fight them off that would be tight .. obv random times though

Yeah. I also thought it would be cool to interrupt crucible with an invasion and both teams have to work to fight off the horde.
