At the end of the day, $60 was a bargain considering the time most of us spent. I've paid more than that for a steak...(and that doesn't include sides!!). True, it's a let down in many areas, and does not transcend. But that is only considering the source, and our impossibly high expectations (myself included). Very few games make you truly care, so this is just an example of a fun/addicting game that we all played for a stint. Ten year game? Lasting impact of Halo? Magic 8-ball says that signs point to no... (Oh and that steak was 90-day dry aged. Now THAT was transcendent...)

  • I can't afford that steak, but it sounds amazing. Like eating cooked jerky, I'd assume. Serve that with some light garlic butter, a tiny bit of A1 Steak Sauce to add twank, and I'd be set. As far as the gaming industry goes, though, Destiny is the most successful flip flop ever.

  • You don't add anything to a steak like that. And trust me, you don't want to. They are amazing without anything!
