So does that mean the raid gear at the moment is going to be useless??

I think that the main draw for VoG post DLC will be fore weapons.. the hive are generally weak to solar, and the VoG gives by far the best solar weapons in the game.. im sure that was not a coincidence. on the same token, if you can just upgrade current gear to get to 32, people will get bored with the new raid much faster

Maybe they will implement armor upgrades to improve armor, check DestinyDB's section for materials. There are some new items listed which indicate something like this

If they don't do something for players to upgrade their already acquired raid gear they will have a lot of annoyed players - more I mean than the people already being negative.

It will help u jump into the raid at a mid tier lvl...wven if u dont get it all u can mix and match sets...im hoping the up exotics to the max lvl

Yeah but if you already have all the raid gear and are lvl 30 does that mean your current gear is going to be obsolete?does it mean we are going to have to grind the new raid in the same way we have had to in the vog?

That sucks...what's the point in grinding so hard for lvl 30 raid gear when soon enough we won't even care about the rewards given from the vog? Not being negative I love Destiny I'm just wondering whether to continue grind so hard for lvl 30 when soon enough all my current armour is as I said obsolete.

No, i'm betting the new raid will be lvl 30 raid, might be a good idea to get gear from the vault before you go against crota

Im almost certain in a previous update he said 28-32 would be the range for crotAs end...ill check for a link
