This is more about the question if this is going to be a continued practice. if the main game, and 2 or more dlc packs are missing strikes and other content, but at the same price point, its no longer justifiable to me. even the content that ps had at the beginning im fine with, but if every dlc costs the same but we get less, it makes it harder to justify the price. especially if this trend continues, xbox users will have so much less content for a year. It comes down to business practices and integrity from a company that preaches community care and involvement.

  • Where is the compassion for ps users when they didn't give them halo. Also I'm a huge halo fan until 4. I can walk the maps backwards and forward. You're insinuating that bungie didn't want to give it to xbox maybe they did and Activision shut them down or maybe ps paid more to shut everyone up. It's simple really if it upsets someone that bad don't give them the money and wait for Xbox to give it away in a deal. Wait I never got anything free from xbox so that'll never happen. So then just take the money else where.

  • I agree with your point, as i said in the post its clearly an activision side of things, especialyl when it comes to money. but a year later getting the same content i paid for? thats crazy, if it was months sure, if it was an exclusive freebie for ps users sure, im fine with that. but why must i pay? Also i was on the ps side of things when we kept getting the tease of, oh it sounds like maybe they will release halo for ps year after! and i was stoked and let down like everyone else. but that was an exclusive game for xbox at the time, just like uncharted or the last of us for ps4. thats quite a different ball game. and thier biggest mistake that got everyone so upset this time around i think, is that they told us all what was in the DLC, all the stikes and raid etc. then all of a sudden let us know that the content is only for some. its about the practices and serving the customer. im big on customer service and not creating a punishment system for the end user or consumer (especially when it comes to wireless providers), so this is why it bothers me so much. im fine with ps getting the content, even if it was forever and we never got it. but i dont think its fair to pay the same price for something. answer me this honestly, a similar parable as the last i stated; you ask me to provide a service to you, lets say you want me to clean the vents in your house. I charge you the fee upfront. 3/4 through the job, i tell you "okay, i have to leave now, but i will be back in 10 months to finish that last 1/4 of the job" what would your response be if someone did this? would you say, ya sure man, as long as it gets done im fine with it. or do you do the reasonable consumer thing and tell me, no youre going to finish the job within the month. ??

  • Why can you not finish the job? Are you able to outsource your remaining work to another company? Will you reimburse me the difference until you are able to return to finish the job? Can I guarantee you will return to finish the job? We have several factors in a situation of that nature that are not definitive. I do see your point however. In turn though preordering a game. You pay up front for it just to wait for the game to be released as well. Was it fair to xbox that after preordering they come in and go "oh by the way, you won't get this for X time longer". Not at all. Knowing anything about exclusives and Activision should it be a surprise? This a sensitive topic we can go back and forth all day and both be right in many areas. I'm saying knowing what I know about games and businesses I am not surprised this has happened.
