DeeJ, you remind me of a shady used car dealer. Do us all a favour and stop posting unless it's an apology.
Thanks.

And what do you propose if that is exactly what I'm looking for in a game? Listen, I'm a dad who works overtime to provide for his family. My gaming time is limited, and sometimes I look forward to that mindless grind. The brunt of my argument, though, is if you don't like the game, fine. But don't go spewing unfounded blasphemy just because you didn't get what you expected. If you don't like the system, don't partake. Chivalry doesn't apply here, and you're not "saving" or "looking out for" anyone. You're not going to "beat the man" by whining because you made an uninformed, overzealous purchase and it wasn't what you expected. Try leaving educated feedback in the thread made for it and, if it doesn't change, move on. By propagating the hatred, you're only playing "muppet" to the angry masses.

Edited by SmanM: 10/30/2014 8:18:01 PMIf it was just me being upset because I didn't get what I expected then ok I could back down and say that you're correct Crazy Italian, but don't try to patronize me or anyone who doesn't appreciate what was pulled. You're right though I did make an irrational and overzealous purchase for having bought the Legendary Edition before having known the "hard copy" was in THIS condition. I had a little too much faith that Bungie would release the Destiny that had been talked about for years and been depicted in Easter eggs among their other works. If you like being a drone then have at it, friend. But again don't try to patronize anyone for having a different opinion and my stating that WE want to look out for YOU is not the way you try to paint it as. We are a community and always have been despite not having met you. We might have even played and loved the same games and not known that fact. My point is you have a lot more in common with me and the other members of the video gaming community than the corporation who pulled a classic bait and switch on every single one of us. In no way am I "whining" or "crying" about this either. That's why I'm not pissed at you for you're opinion so the antagonist troll taunts can be put to rest, yes? I'm old enough to understand what the world is like. It may not be fair, but that's why video gaming was a nice peaceful retreat for myself and almost all of my friends I've grown up with, is because with any bit of imagination you can accomplish anything in a game. You trample on that when you pull a "Destiny" and advertise something then put out a different product with the same name.
-
Listen, antagonistic trolling is not what I'm about, so my apologies if that's what's coming across (though I believe the name calling came from your end). I have no problem with differing opinions, either, and instead encourage them as they are how we grow. I just have yet to see anything from any reputable source stating anything that makes me think I was cheated or lied to. I got exactly what I was expecting and more, and made great effort to do my research before buying. I learned how DLC content works, what a "space saver" is, and even went so far as to do some very basic research into how a video game is made. I personally feel, based solely on my own research and experiences, that I made a great purchase, and while I agree that fixes were needed, don't feel slighted at all. But, at the same time, I do recognize that we have differing opinions here, and I don't wish to push my opinion on you, and expect the same consideration in return. That being said, how about we call a truce and, should the opportunity arise, promise to game together someday in the future?
-
Fair enough. I'm not a ram rod politician out for a vote, but more of a gamer who hates seeing others get taken advantage of or even having felt that way. I accept the agree to disagree truce, since I'll take it back. (Drone revoked) If you love Destiny, then love it until you get information from that reputable source and decide where you stand on your own from that point on. I'm all for gaming together in the future! I have nothing personal against anyone here within these forums.
-
Well, if you're ever on the x1 hit me up! GT is my username, and as heated as that got, it was a good conversation!!!
-
Agreed! Haha
-
C-C-C-COMBO BUMP!
-
Not This! As a consumer you are owed what was advertised if you buy.
-
You were advertised purchasable DLC...
-
I was advertised a great game with a lot of content. It's ok tho that $40 will get spent else where now. Have fun with sony and those shitty controllers.
-
<is on Xbox One. Dude, you got EXACTLY what was advertised. BUT, I encourage you to have fun with COD Advanced Warfare. Should be a good one.
-
No COD, Battlefield Halo and Street fighter for me. I would play COD if more skilled players played it. But I should have to play really hard to keep a 2.0 and sadly you don't.
-
Hey darth your kinda a dick eh.
-
No I'm an elitist dick. Get it right.
-
So aka a -blam!-
-
Word to street fighter, yo!
-
Then please, by all means, link me to the lawsuit against Bungie that's suing them for not selling what was advertised. Oh, wait..
-
It's called False Advertisement and that ALONE is grounds for lawsuit... http://youtu.be/UZ5BpeHVTWY
-
You clearly don't work for your money with an attitude like that. People have a right to get what's advertised.
-
I do work for my money, lol. But people have this strange sense of entitlement. Bungie didn't do ANYTHING that was against the law, and yet here is a pair of people, treating them like they did. They advertised and hyped up a game, alongside it's expansion pass for downloadable content. You bought a game. That's the end of it.
-
Actually you stupid mother -blam!-er... They did. False Advertisement is against the law. Look it up. Next, watch how bad the -blam!- us in the ass.... http://youtu.be/UZ5BpeHVTWY
-
They advertised a game, and sold it. I don't know what you're expecting.. but on the disc you bought is the game they developed. Apparently some children, self-entitled or otherwise on this forum do not realize that.. Any content shown before the game actually releases is subject to change. Nothing is final, and can be changed for the final product is shipped. It happens with every video game, ever. Before the game goes gold, ANYTHING within the realm of the game itself is subject to change, whether it's being cut or changed. You have no idea what false advertising ACTUALLY is, my friend.
-
Dude just stop
-
Of course they didn't break the law, they sold us an item that didn't fulfill their advertising on said product. They can do whatever the #$@$ they want, but the next time they release a huge title, their customer base might not be there to support them. If their fine with that, then @$!# them. Now is the time to let them know what we want to see in the game.
-
As I stated previously...You were advertised purchasable DLC...
