This was made very clear since the beginning.
Were people hiding under a rock? Bungie made it clear to the point where they took a hammer and knocked it over our heads that Destiny will have tons of exclusive content only on Playstation, even DLC content.
The videos, interviews, and commercials all said "The Ultimate Destiny Experience Only on Playstation"
Is it dividing their community? Maybe, I think the PS4 is still outselling the XB1 so they chose the right console for exclusivity.
People willing paid the exact same price for less content over the course of the contract.
Companies will continue to do this because gamers consciously do this. The best way to beat it is to simply not but the game or DLCs.
Feeding companies your money for less content is essentially saying it's O.K.

This is true they may have chosen the right console, I think most people are upset about the length of the exclusive content on a multiplatform game, 1-2 months ok, 3-6 that's kinda bs but w/e, an entire year to get the content? That's just stupid. This alone will drive any xone player to halo:mcc here in the next few months. But that's just for Xbox, I feel that if they don't add some kind of replay ability to this game it will sink to fast before I see that content especially with all the good looking games coming out for both consoles. Just my 2 cents.
