I finally got it. I've been trying to figure out where the best place to put the grimoire cards so that players get more information on the i game because there is so much good info out there. You should have the grimoire cards that the player has unlocked layover the loading screens! Then instead of just staring at your craft slowly floating about, you get amazing information on the game while waiting to go to your next destination. If this is not the best idea ever, I don't know what is. Let me know what you think guys.

Made a topic in the forums to hopefully get more support and somebody to notice! Thanks for the initial support though and hopefully we can get this in the game.

Fantastic idea !! Bungie please listen !

Brilliant.

I totally agree and will spread this around and give credit to this brilliant innovative thinker. You could given have it so that is works on an unlocked card rotation, so if they might be a bit of server lag and we are at the "ship flying" transition for longer that we get to see more cards and information letting us read and get informed more on the deep Destiny lore. I for one want to find out more about the Vex and their time manipulating ways and the reason that almost every other race (enemy) attacks them, sometimes even ignoring us. The Vex must be breaking some serious interplanetary laws or something like that to be hated or feared that much. Then again many people say that the most effective way to hide something is for it to be in plain sight. (Maybe something we see at the tower?) Whatever happens, Destiny's story and lore is very deep and complex and considering we have only been "alive" again for between 100 to 200 hours of in game time, there is no way we could even get a point of reference for what is going on, let alone understand it. It would be like trying to explain the internet to someone from the 19th Century. You could try and explain the internet to that person but would you really want to given how many other topics you would have to cover to answer their 100000 interconnected questions.

Edited by Stone Hardgod: 10/30/2014 5:31:53 PMIt is a great idea, and has been brought up by many brilliant minds such as your own. Bravo! But the Grimoire cards serve a specific purpose - to drive traffic to Bungie.net, where you can encounter the society of Bungie fans in the forums. A clever marketing ploy, yes?
-
Yes very much so. I did not even know about Bungie's website until this game and the cards.
-
I thought that they should build in"dog fighting' on the crafts during the loading screen to break up the boredom ... it would be a mini game for your buds to gank each other while waiting and be entertained before getting serious - a win - win right ..? Bungie should build in more mini games such as this in menus and different aspects of the game ... your idea isn't bad - but people don't wanna read a story they want it told to them through the on screen actions - like a good story teller should do ... look at halo 3 ... there ya go ...
-
Agreed, its at least a start to get the info out there though. So much good stuff in those cards and barely anyone reads them
-
Love it! Bungie please implement!

Buuump

I Like It

I kinda want to just start in the tower instead of always having to load in on launching the game.

Its a good idea but Bungie needed to put al this info right in the game and not on a website. Its cool that they put it on Internet but they needed to put it in the game. They wont make a better story but like BumperLipz said, this is a great idea to give us a little more time with Destiny.

Good idea

Sounds good to me

I think an in-game library in the tower or some other location would be cool.

Edited by C DuBB: 10/30/2014 4:48:10 PMRight across from the Speaker where Xur first spawned. Or across from the Iron Banner. Those would be great places to hold a library.

Completely agree with this as well. We should definitely be able to view our cards somewhere in game.

I may be dumb but how do I make a related post? Can I do that on the app or do I have to be on a computer
