I am not saying I regret my purchase, with video games I hardly ever do.. but comparing apples to apples: I spent double the amount of time in skyrim and never did the same thing twice, spent about the same amount of time in mass effect 2/3 because it made me care about my comrades and the world, and I spent less than half the time in the last of us, but was completely and utterly moved by the story. My point is destiny failed to do any of that for me and the hype made us believe that it would be on par with those types of games that I bought for the same exact price. I just grinded for loot.. over and over lol. it was only fun becuase I was with my friends

  • This is a well written post complaint. Put this way - an argument against the game is made that makes sense. This is not entitlement. It is honest vs. false advertising. Open means open not closed and the story is extremely weak. There is no content that makes people care about this world nor each other. If you don't have friends to play with that you genuinely like - you are alone in this very limited "Universe." Do a patch that includes new content (I can stand a multi hour download) where there is an announcement each week that the Cosmodrome is under attack by legions of Fallen or whatever and that all Guardians are called upon to mass at the gates to fight them off. This should be weekly and last 24 hours so everyone has the opportunity to get in. This is NOT my idea but others. But this would make us CARE about the game more and certainly create camaraderie.

  • Remember the "explore the universe" advertisements? I didn't know the universe was just three planets and a moon in our solar system. Maybe someone should tell BioWare so they don't confuse that with what they call the universe in the Mass Effect games?
