If we both buy something for the same price but one of us gets less for whatever reason. What do you call that?
You making a poor purchase decision. Fortunately that's not what happened here because your assumption that "whatever reason" is actually relevant. The reason is somebody else is giving one of us a reward for customer loyalty, and the other one isn't entitled to it. They get their own rewards from a different company in different ways, and even if they didn't - life isn't fair, decisions have consequences, Sony advertised exclusive Destiny content in June, well before the game was released. That was the time to worry about it.

Not a pour purchase because even with all the promotion of exclusive content I still don't want to own a ps4. At the end of the day if we get less for our money the price should reflect that. Why should it cost the same if I'm getting less. That's a dumb way to appeal to a potential customer.

Except you already bought the game, and they made more money by offering exclusives than they think they are going to lose by you being frustrated. Go ahead and not buy the DLC if one strike map bothers you so much.
