I love the grind too - but this game is far from amazing - now Dead Island - Riptide was an amazing game - great story, grind, and personal involvement, smooth controls and actual rewards for completing elements of the game that were hard not just a "chance" at good stuff - Destiny almost has none of that - I have played every game bungie has ever made Destiny is the worest one to date - it has such potiential and is very fun with groups of people but there are so many elements that are sliced up and sold seperatly int he face of corporate america to make a buck - that really destroyed the games story and playability - lets see how they take all this information and put it to good use and then we will see the full intent of destiny as it was intented ...

People will be playing this game in a year and it will cost 30 dollars. No one will be playing riptide in 2 months.

You missed the whole point of that - look at what riptide offered compared to Destiny - that was the point - and Dead Island and Dyling light both come out soon 2015 - or so and Dead Island and riptide delivered on the prmoised content and had a solid experience on the day 1 on 1 disc - Destiny is not the case .. those games had a 2 - 3 years life span and delivered ... Destiny is suppose to deliver a 10 year life span ..? - now get the point ...

Dying light as well was incredibly short. Excellent game but offers nothing whatsoever as compared to the replay ability of destiny.

It is, and I'm not sure if youre under the impression that they will just moderately release dlc or keep it the way it is. But either way, they can modify the game in its entirety if they wish, did you play warframe when I came out? If you play it now its insanely different. That's essentially the plan, but those kind of changes don't happen overnight. Either way, the game is much more interesting to me than riptide. People got way too hyped out about destiny and still need to realize its still in production. Whether we see it soon or not, meh, who knows.
